Vin+ 3,121 Posted June 17, 2016 Panthers signed LT Michael Oher to a three-year, $21.6 million extension through 2019. Oher gets $9.5 million guaranteed. The subject of the movie "Blind Side" as a decorated Ole Miss player, Oher's career has experienced some wild ups and downs. He was the 23rd overall pick by the Ravens in the 2009 draft and started five years in Baltimore mostly as a liability at right tackle. The Ravens expressed no interest in re-signing him before Oher took $6 million from the Titans in 2014 only to last one season and be cut. The Panthers took a flier at $3.5 million per year, and Oher graded out as a top-15 pass-blocking tackle at PFF, though he finished 76th as a run blocker. Oher turned 30 this past April. Still getting paid.

Thanatos 2,847 Posted June 18, 2016 (edited) What's awesome is that his Oline teammates, who know he hates that movie, are all posting clips from the movie on twitter to congratulate him: https://twitter.com/trai_turner/status/743807925215363072?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw https://twitter.com/Mremmers74/status/743804256881283072?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw https://twitter.com/ryankalil/status/743801834821804032?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Edited June 18, 2016 by Thanatos
Zack_of_Steel+ 3,014 Posted June 18, 2016 That movie was the reason the media and fans touted him as a top OT during his time in Baltimore, lol.
