BoneKrusher+ 1,276 Posted December 7, 2016 This is the best this division has been since i've been a Chiefs fan. the final four weeks will be a slugfest. Buckle your chin straps and let's do it!.
BigBen07 285 Posted December 7, 2016 Massive TNF game too vs. the Raiders. That one could determine the division winner.

BigBen07 285 Posted December 7, 2016 Catching the Raiders on a short week (with travel) as well will help. It'll definitely come down to who will be less fatigued.
BoneKrusher+ 1,276 Posted December 7, 2016 I agree. KC has had too emotional finishes the last two weeks. it's gonna be tough.
BigBen07 285 Posted December 7, 2016 I agree. KC has had too emotional finishes the last two weeks. it's gonna be tough. Especially the end of that game vs. Atlanta. You talk about massive swings, like that so-called "Pick 2". Atlanta was demoralized after that. That was a hell of a play by Berry. Glad that rule was put in. Defenses deserve a reward for making plays like that.
BoneKrusher+ 1,276 Posted December 7, 2016 Yeah man, Berry's playing like a beast lately.
BigBen07 285 Posted December 7, 2016 Now don't shoot me but here's how I think it'll play out: 1. Oakland 2. K.C. (Wild Card) 3. Denver (possible Wild card) 4. S.D. Obviously it may change, especially if K.C. pulls out the W.
BoneKrusher+ 1,276 Posted December 7, 2016 Nah You good Man. I just don't trust KC in big games. been a fan since 89 and it just seems to be in their DNA/
BigBen07 285 Posted December 7, 2016 (edited) Nah You good Man. I just don't trust KC in big games. been a fan since 89 and it just seems to be in their DNA/ OK Denver could actually slip out of the #6 seed and with the Steelers picking it up, that's not good timing on their part. Having a rookie QB in this late in the year is gonna spell trouble with the offense. Edited December 7, 2016 by BigBen07
BoneKrusher+ 1,276 Posted December 7, 2016 Injuries are awful in the NFL these days. The Chiefs and Vikings have really had more than their share.
BigBen07 285 Posted December 7, 2016 Injuries are awful in the NFL these days. The Chiefs and Vikings have really had more than their share. Despite that, K.C. keeps winning. Coaching pedigree helps with that. Vikings though... not so much with Mr Sam "Master of the Horizontal Pass" Bradford.
BoneKrusher+ 1,276 Posted December 7, 2016 Yeah Andy Reid's an awesome coach.
BigBen07 285 Posted December 7, 2016 Yeah Andy Reid's an awesome coach. I wish he had beaten N.E. in 2004 though
BoneKrusher+ 1,276 Posted December 7, 2016 I wish he had beaten N.E. in 2004 though My biggest beef with him is he waits till his teams get behind in games before he opens up the offense (it seems to me anyway) but i can live with that...i think.

Yeah, that's an annoying trend of his for sure. It was really bad in the Eagles 5 NFCCG appearances back in the 2000s. seanbrock 1,684 Posted December 7, 2016 (edited) Andy will get you to the dance, but fuck it up and get out coached in big games. He's very good at scripting the first plays of the game but after that his use of time outs, clock management and play calling is just awful. It's a shame because the guy knows how to run a team. The players love him and he's a decent drafter but I ended up hating the guy the last few years after so many heart breaking losses. Around Philly people since he left McNabb has become more the punching bag for the big game failures which he deserves to an extent but Andy has had the same issues every single year since him and Donny parted ways. One things for sure, when he has a good defense he's tough to beat. He inherited some awesome players in KC and Jim Johnson was a beast. When he died Andy was pretty mediocre the rest of his time in Philly. Edited December 7, 2016 by seanbrock
BoneKrusher+ 1,276 Posted December 7, 2016 Watching Derrick Thomas play (if you were able to) must have been awesome. DT along with Okoye were the two players that attracted me to the Chiefs. Yeah The Chiefs were a very exciting team in 89.
AL_Royalty 489 Posted January 3, 2017 This is the best Chiefs team I've ever had the privilege of rooting for. They've built this thing from the top down and bottom up simultaneously. They didn't bring in some flashy aging vets in a crazy boom or bust attempt to win it all in one year. They didn't try too hard to splash the draft. They didn't hire Herm fucking Edwards. This could be the year, but if it's not, they aren't just gonna fall off the map. The Raiders will get Carr back and have those stud defense stars. The Broncos defense is a terrific unit. The chargers, well, who knows, but the AFC West is definitely what's hot in these streets right now.
