Yes, which is why it is absolutely imperative a lot of you sad sacks start to change your outlook. Of course, it is a rigged system, it's always going to be. Sitting around and whining about it's not going to help, it's not going to hurt either.

 

That being said, keeping in mind what you just said if you ever have kids, don't you want to give him the best you can. At some point those parents had to get money from somewhere, when people came over here a long time ago 250 years ago the wage disparity wasn't as great as it is now. Some people took advantage of others and got rich, and now they changed the entire Arc of their family bloodline.

 

I see it's a rigged system, just like you do. That being said instead of whining about it I'm going to do my best to make sure my son is one of those Rich snobs that everybody on this message board is going to hate. He's not going to have to grow up poor, and Foster homes, and on welfare like I had to. That's the entire point of being a parent, you want your children to have better than you did. So if you guys want to sit on the internet and whine about it, hate more power to you. Or, you could go out and make something of it for your own children.

 

As far as being proud of the country, nobody said you have to. That being said I think it's crazy that you think we're so far behind in the Western World when you consider where most countries in South America, Central America, Mexico's at. But hey, you're right dude, we are the absolute worst. As people actually been to South America and Central America about the crushing poverty there. I've been there and I can tell you about it, but you would just dismiss it because I'm white and I'm rich.

No, it means you should bitch about it more, be more informed, and vote because collectively we do have a say and we can make a difference. If you don't stick up for yourself don't expect someone to do it for you.
