The most interesting thing to me is just how different people's boards are.

Cherry, ofc, probably has the most out-there due to his own scouting. But Henderson was a borderline 2nd round pick on 2 of the 3 sites I use, and the 3rd has him as an early 4th rounder.

Yet obviously not the same with others here, as he fell all the way to round 5.

Just very cool to me.

yeah it's how it works in the NFL too. Teams might have a guy graded high but don't have a need at the position so they fall and some teams aren't high on said player at all. Definitely pretty cool though.

I feel pretty good about the Colts draft so far.....

Haason Reddick, LB, Temple

Charles Harris, OLB, Missouri

Montravius Adams, DT, Auburn

Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma

Shaquill Griffin, CB, Central Florida

Brian Allen, CB, Utah

Elijah Qualls, DT, Washington

Qualls and Adams are an awesome DT duo which should let the Colts LB'ers run rampant. Very nice draft. Colts front 7 would get way better if they were able to pull this off.

I'd like to publicly apologize to the Chargers for drafting Glasgow, not that I think it was a reach, but a guy I thought was gone and better just gothe taken.

Also shout out to whoever grabbed the DE from Kansas State towards the start of the draft. On my phone and don't feel like looking up his name but I was re-watching some of his tape and he flashes some real potential.

Really feeling a RB by committee with Murray, McKinnon and Pumphrey with this new revamped Oline I drafted for Minny.

so my draft is basically over at this point (I've got a seventh rounder left) but I think this was a pretty good haul:

Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama
John Ross, WR, Washington
Cameron Sutton, CB, Tennessee
Bucky Hodges, TE, Virginia Tech
Carroll Phillips, OLB, Illinois
Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington
Eddie Vanderdoes, DT, UCLA
Marcus Maye, S, Florida

Maye probably goes before the 5th in real life

Almost certainly, I checked about five times to make sure he was still available

I was under the impression he was not, as well. Definitely goes before round 5.

The safety class this year is the position everyone should be talking about. It's really deep. You have a chance to get a starter late in the draft. Real late.

I don't think it's nearly as deep as the cornerback class. There are probably some safeties still on the board that could be starters at the next level, but we saw how many cornerbacks came off the board early. The high end depth in that area easily outweighs the high end depth of the safety position in this class.

My pick was between two super instinctual safeties with lots of success.. Hard to choose, but I went and rewatched some tape this morning and the choice was obvious. Jerome has a slower 40 time but he plays on the field a lot faster. Safety 2, for me, just looked sooooo slow (again, on the field).

My next (and last) pick isn't until 243...

Better hope they aren't on defense..

There's one defensive guy I'm targeting at the moment, but he is the one I feel will least likely still be on the board. Offensive guys I think could still be there.

Damn I'm quite surprised that Joshua Dobbs was still on the board in the 5th. He has big play ability and showed poise on the clutch a few times last year. Could be a survivable starter given time.
