RazorStar 4,025 Posted April 15, 2017 Let's see what happens when we leave drafting up to the whims of fate and random chance. The basic methodology behind this was to assemble a congregate big board to rank players, start with a small sample size of players, and slowly increase the sample size as I went down the selections. So players like Myles Garrett and Solomon Thomas are available to be drafted from the very first pick, while borderline guys like Budda Baker and Jalen Tabor aren't available until much later in the draft. That way I don't have something completely unreasonable going on. However there is one more gimmick that I added, and that is every draft pick had a 1 in 6 shot of being traded. If I rolled a trade, I would roll to see which team would be their trade partner, and as long as I didn't hit the same team (1/32 shot), the trade would go through. I didn't think too deeply on whether or not the trading teams had the ammunition to make it happen, this is the random NFL, where anything goes! With all that said, here are the results. 1. TRADE (From CLE) Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU 2. TRADE (From SF) OJ Howard, TE, Albama 3. Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama 4. Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M 5. (From LAR) Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee 6. Jonathan Allen, DE, Alabama 7. Jamal Adams, S, LSU 8. Mike Williams, WR, Clemson 9. Garrett Bolles, OT, Utah 10. Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State 11. Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State 12. (From PHI) Jabril Peppers, S, Michigan 13. TRADE (From ARI) Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan 14. (From MIN) Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford 15. Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin 16. David Njoku, TE, Miami 17. Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida 18. Forrest Lamp, OG, Western Kentucky 19. Malik Hooker, S, Ohio State 20. DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame 21. RazorStar 4,025 Posted April 15, 2017 TB probably threw in their second and either a third this year or a second next year. I didn't vet the trades for value or anything. >_>
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted April 16, 2017 Also I like how you have the Jags another DE surely to bust. Very Jacksonvillian.
FartWaffles 1,857 Posted April 16, 2017 Texans don't really need receiver help that much. (especially not to address it in the first round) If they go pass catcher there and how your board has fallen, I'd hope they select Njoku.

If they move up that far it would be difficult to imagine anything other than a QB - and I don't see one they would move that far up for - maybe a handful of spots but that would be about it.
