Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted November 3, 2017 Obviously you don't want this happen anyway, but it coming out of practice really is the cherry on top of the shit sundae.
Omerta+ 1,206 Posted November 3, 2017 I feel for the kid, he was damn exciting this season. I am not saying it is a good thing, but I think there are some silver linings here. A.) They can build a supporting cast around him and his style now that they know what they have. That O-line could use work. They also get Watt back and that defense with a legit offense could be very problematic for the AFC. B.) He has seen the pro game now and he knows it is not to big for him. He has done enough I think to make a legitimate argument for starter at the start of camp, so there wont be any of this QB musical chairs. C.) He has time to fix the things he was not great at and building a more complete skillset mentally. I mean it is little consolation but sitting sometimes in your rookie year is not a bad thing. In this case he got to be the starter and knows he can hang. It also probably extended his confidence and kept him from getting lambasted by that o line. It may have actually lengthened his career lol.
Thanatos 2,847 Posted November 3, 2017 Assuming he can come back from this at the same level. Do we know whether or not it was the same knee?
FartWaffles 1,857 Posted November 3, 2017 Assuming he can come back from this at the same level. Do we know whether or not it was the same knee? It's not the same knee from his ACL tear in college.

Cherry 1,302 Posted November 3, 2017 Thankfully it's not his plant leg that had the tear. Will definitely harm his mobility and be a danger long term, but it shouldn't alter his throwing motion/velocity at all.
ATL_Predator+ 1,196 Posted November 4, 2017 Man... I'm really tried of seeing these non-contact injuries to guys like Watson and Bridgewater.
Thanatos 2,847 Posted November 4, 2017 Don't worry bro, PE says they're all faked. These guys are just faking them for money.
