SteVo+ 3,702 Posted December 13, 2017 A wild weekend of football has made an already-intriguing MVP race muddled and, in my opinion, wide open. Going into week 14, here's what happened to a few contenders... Tom Brady - looked terrible against a mediocre Dolphins team Carson Wentz - tore his ACL and ended his season Russell Wilson - threw 3 interceptions in Jacksonville So...where do things stand now? Obviously Wentz won't win with his injury. Can Brady/Wilson rebound? And what about the Steelers? Does Ben Roethlisberger's 5-INT performance (also against Jacksonville, interestingly) disqualify him? If so, what about a non-QB like Le'Veon Bell or Antonio Brown? Anyone else I'm missing? Thanatos 2,847 Posted December 13, 2017 It may very well end up being AB, but atm I think its still Brady. One bad game doesn't negate a season of greatness.
56AceInDaPlace 110 Posted December 13, 2017 If the Chargers make the playoffs, is Rivers in the race then??
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted December 13, 2017 If the Chargers make the playoffs, is Rivers in the race then?? I would think he has to be. In a season like this, the final weeks of the year are going to weigh heavily on MVP candidacy.
seanbrock 1,684 Posted December 13, 2017 (edited) It's Russell Wilson and I don't think anyone is even a close second. Edited December 13, 2017 by seanbrock
RazorStar 4,025 Posted December 13, 2017 Drew Brees? But it's actually just Tom Brady, sorry everyonion.
Thanatos 2,847 Posted December 13, 2017 It's Russell Wilson and I don't think anyone is even a close second. It's Wilson if he takes Seattle to the playoffs, especially if the Hawks win the West. I don't think he's going to.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted December 14, 2017 Actually, this may be an out of left field pick, but if the Lions were to somehow make it to the postseason, Matt Stafford might be worth considering.
Thanatos 2,847 Posted December 14, 2017 I feel like since he isn't even mentioned now it would be hard for him to make up enough ground to be a serious candidate.
FartWaffles 1,857 Posted December 14, 2017 Russell Wilson if the Seahawks make the playoffs, Tom Brady if they don't.

DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted December 18, 2017 At this point it's Brady's to lose.
FartWaffles 1,857 Posted December 18, 2017 Gurley is making a strong case, but Brady still has to be the front-runner.
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted December 26, 2017 Sure seems like a two-horse race between Brady and Gurley, and I still think it's Brady's to lose.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted December 26, 2017 I'll just take the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL. Alex Smith. Fuck Brady.
Sarge+ 3,436 Posted December 26, 2017 (edited) Gurley has been on absolute fire lately. Kinda hard for me not to give him my vote. Edited December 26, 2017 by Sarge

ATL_Predator+ 1,196 Posted December 29, 2017 Gurley has been getting better... while Brady has been... meh at best. Gurley's all purpose factor alone is crazy
