Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2018

Recommended Posts

I'm surprised we don't seem to have a thread on this yet, not sure why I haven't started one. The HOF class will be announced tomorrow, but here's the finalist list:

Tony Boselli

Isaac Bruce

Brian Dawkins

Alan Faneca

Steve Hutchinson

Joe Jacoby

Edgerrin James

Ty Law

Ray Lewis

John Lynch

Kevin Mawae

Randy Moss

Terrell Owens

Brian Urlacher

Everson Walls

So who would be your five? Who barely misses the cut? Who shouldn't have made it this far? Go!

Which isn't to say that I'm rooting for it. Just that he should've been in last year.

I kind of want to see Isaac Bruce get in ahead of T.O. just to see how salty people would get.

Screw everyone else.....

JERRY KRAMER HAS FINALLY MADE THE HALL OF FAME!!!!!!!!

Former linebacker Ray Lewis, receiver Randy Moss and linebacker Brian Urlacher have been elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility, sources told ESPN.

They are joined in the Class of 2018 by Terrell Owens and Brian Dawkins as the modern-era selections to be enshrined, sources said. Owens was in his third year of eligibility and third as a finalist, while longtime Eagles safety Brian Dawkins was in his second year of eligibility.

Longtime personnel executive Bobby Beathard (contributor) and seniors committee nominees Jerry Kramer and Robert Brazile were also voted into the Hall, according to sources.

Glad Kramer didn't get the Kenny Stabler treatment. Hope he makes it to his HoF induction. (He's 82) Still don't understand why he had to wait so long...

I actually thought both of those things. Before today, I would have told you that I bet he gets in the year after he passes. And even after the news, I was just hoping he can make it. It will be such a great honor to see him get his jacket and unveil his bust after waiting this damn long.

Would be an injustice for him not to be able to -- just like it was for Snake.

The player I'm most hyped for is Robert Brazile. He was obviously before my time, but my dad told me so many stories about Dr. Doom while I was growing up watching football with him. Dude was a beast!

TO should have gone in right away. At least they finally opened their doors after 2 unwarranted snubs

Yeah I can't stand TO but he's no worse than the third best WR ever.

I would put AB over Megatron, but not TO, not yet.

ah forgot Megatron, guess that makes T.O. 6th. Actually, give me prime Larry Fitzgerald over T.O. as well.
