Packers Dynasty 2010 116 Posted March 30, 2018 (edited) With the 27th overall pick in the NFL draft, the Green Bay Packers select: Mike Hughes, CB, UCF Entering the offseason, the Packers had a glaring hole at corner that only got worse by trading Randall and only picking up Tramon Williams in FA to address it. The Packers need another corner to line up across from King and Hughes is that guy. He is very fluid, keeps up with receivers fairly well, and has good hands to make plays on the ball. He had off the field issues at UNC but seemed to get over that before joining UCF last year. An added bonus is that he was a good kick returner and could provide a boost there if the Pack are willing to have a starting corner return kicks. butta54 371 Posted March 30, 2018 With the 28th pick, in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select... Ronnie Harrison, SAF, Alabama Harrison is the most well-rounded safety in the class to me and a steal at this point in the draft. The hyped Fitzpatrick takes the spotlight, but this is one of the heartbeats of that Bama defense that can hit downhill and cover over deep. The Steelers have bodies, but no safety that commands a starting spot. Straight out of Saban's school of high IQ secondary play, I think Harrison has the tools to play all over the field for a defense looking for a true sparkplug.

RazorStar 4,025 Posted March 30, 2018 With the 31st pick of the 2018 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select: Sam Hubbard, DE, Ohio State Highly intelligent and versatile player, seems like a perfect fit for a Patriots defense that lacks in real play makers along the front seven. seanbrock 1,684 Posted March 30, 2018 (edited) (Proxy for Cherry) With the 32nd overall pick in the draft the Bengals take... Connor Williams OT Texas "With Jake Fisher still manning the right side and a serious opening at guard, Connor Williams gives the Bengals a versatile piece on the offensive line that can be used anywhere. When Cordy Glenn's time runs out there is a good chance he can step in and become one of the most impactful tackles in the league." Here is Cherry's report on Williams. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1T-3sk-Ov6kBucoLs5d4sFAk9dmlsKfgd5NTbgrPQJ-c/edit?usp=sharing Edited March 31, 2018 by Chernobyl426

butta54 371 Posted March 31, 2018 (edited) **TRADE ALERT** Chicago Bears are now on the clock. With the 37th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select..... Will Hernandez, OG, UTEP Someone break out the coke in the Chicago war room...Will Hernandez is still on the board! Every bit as nasty and technically sound as Quenton Nelson, but comes with plus lateral movement. By hook or by crook Chicago is determined to make Trubisky the golden boy and that starts with his OL. While the tackles aren't anything to write home about, bringing in Hernandez gives us one of the most versatile interiors in the league with Whitehair at the pivot. Shotgun runs for Howard and west coast throws for Trubisky will be the name of the game next year and we just got a glass chewer that will open up lanes for years to come. butta54 371 Posted April 1, 2018 With the 45th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints select... Lorenzo Carter, OLB, Georgia Toss up here between an offensive piece and a defensive piece. In the end we go with an athletic SEC-tested veteran that hasn't even reached his full potential yet. Carter rushes off the edge, pass out in coverage, and defends the run. While he isn't particularly great at any one part of his game, you can see the potential player he will be come once the light comes on. Bringing in Carter brings some much needed heat on the edge of an emerging Saints defense that can really start letting their secondary loose with more pressure on the QB.
seanbrock 1,684 Posted April 1, 2018 With the 46th overall pick Your Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles select Dorian O'Daniel LB Clemson To me this guy is a perfect fit for the Eagles. The knock on him is he's undersized and doesn't fight off blocks too well but behind a dominant defensive line he has the athleticism and instincts to be able to make a ton of plays. I think once he gets in an NFL weight room he'll put on some size. Pretty excited to get O'Daniel here. He can play in nickel packages too and I love his special teams background. You have to like bringing in winning players from successful programs.

Packers Dynasty 2010 116 Posted April 1, 2018 (edited) With the 47th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Chargers select: Orlando Brown, OT, Oklahoma Brown is a bit of a risk after a very disappointing combine but the Chargers severely need help at the tackle position and at this point I believe Brown is worth it. Michael Schofield was basically a turnstile last season so Brown can slide right in at right tackle and be a day 1 starter. His frame and length bode well for the NFL but he does need to work on his lateral movement and getting up to the 2nd level of defenses.
