Baltimore has won the last two matchups, outscoring Carolina 75-23, after losing the teams' first three meetings. Both the Panthers and Ravens have been very good this season at converting goal-to-go drives into touchdowns - Carolina ranks first (100 percent) and Baltimore ranks second (86.7) in the NFL.

The Ravens are one of just two teams with a positive point differential in every quarter this season (not counting overtime). The other team is the undefeated Rams (7-0). Meanwhile, the Ravens are only 4-3.

Last week, the Panthers entered the fourth quarter trailing the Eagles 17-0 but came back to win 21-17. That made them just the fourth road team in NFL history to win a game it trailed by a score of 17-0 or worse entering the fourth quarter.

The Panthers and Ravens feature two of the oldest groups of starters in the NFL. Based on starters in each team's last game, Carolina is the oldest team in the league and Baltimore is the third oldest.

John Brown (558 yards) and Michael Crabtree (409 yards) rank second and fourth, respectively, in the league in most receiving yards by a player on a new team this season.

Cam Newton has thrown multiple TD passes in five straight games, the longest streak of his career and tied for the second-longest streak in Panthers history.
