The Jets have won three of the last four meetings in this series after losing each of the previous five. They are 6-2 at home against Buffalo since 2010, scoring over 20 points in seven of the eight contests while averaging 30.6 points per game.

The Bills lost their fourth game in a row with a 41-9 defeat to the Bears. Buffalo has scored fewer than 10 points in three straight games, tied for the longest such streak in franchise history (also 1987 and 1969), and has scored fewer than 14 in six consecutive games, the longest streak in team history.

The Jets scored and allowed their fewest points in a game this season in their 13-6 loss in Miami last week. It was only the second time in the last 15 seasons that the Jets did not score or allow an offensive touchdown, joining their 2010 Week 8 game against the Packers, a 9-0 Jets loss.

The Bills and Jets have not held a lead at any point in each of their last three games. Buffalo has committed a league-high 11 turnovers in that span while New York has had eight. For the season, the Bills lead the NFL with 22 giveaways while the Jets rank third with 20 (Buccaneers -- 21).

LeSean McCoy has 24 rushing yards (on 24 carries) in his last three games, his fewest in a three-game span in his career. His previous career low in a three-game span was 64 yards in his rookie season.

After throwing a career-high four interceptions last week, Sam Darnold will miss his first career game with a foot injury. His expected replacement, Josh McCown, completed 67.3 percent of his passes in 2017, the third-highest single-season completion percentage in Jets history.
