The Bears defeated the Lions in Chicago, 34-22 in Week 10 -- just 11 days prior to this Thursday's meeting. This will be the third time since 1970 that two teams meet twice within 12 days in the regular season, along with Dallas-Washington in 1974 and Jacksonville-Houston in 2013.

The Bears join Kansas City as the only two teams to hold a second-half lead in every game in 2018; they lead the NFL in fewest first-half points allowed (58) and first-half scoring margin (plus-102). Chicago has not trailed during its current four-game winning streak, outscoring opponents by a combined 124-61.

With a 20-19 win over Carolina last week, the Lions snapped a streak of six straight games allowing 20 or more points. Detroit had a three-game Thanksgiving winning streak snapped last season, losing to the Vikings, 30-23.

Mitchell Trubisky passed for a career-high 355 yards against the Lions two weeks ago, with three TD passes; he had only two touchdown passes in two starts against Detroit last year, losing both. Trubisky has thrown for 16 touchdowns in six home games in 2018, compared to four in four road games.

Matthew Stafford will make his 123rd consecutive start on Thursday, breaking a tie for the sixth-longest start streak among quarterbacks since QB starts were first tracked in 1950. Stafford will become the first QB to start on Thanksgiving Day in eight consecutive seasons.

Chicago looks to win in Detroit for the first time since 2012, when the Bears downed the Lions in the season finale at Ford Field, 26-24. That year was the last one in which Chicago swept the season series with Detroit -- and the last time the Bears beat any team twice in a single season.

Trubisky ded prolly.  Somewhat takes some of the fun out of the game.

Chase Daniel can probably hold his own against the Lions D, they tend to be ill prepared for surprising situations. I'll still take the Bears in this one, but the Lions will make it close.
