Your Team's Unheralded Watch-Out Players

Mykkele Thompson..... 5th rd pick, catching on quickly at a position the Giants not only have no depth in, but they also don't have a starter besides Collins. Who is also this years pick -

Think he's gonna coach till he or his wife become unhealthy or sick. Coaching is his life. After he was fired from the Jags he spent his off-seasons studying film, coming in to teams camps, going to the combine, and even interviewed with the Bengals

David Diehl announces retirementNew York Giants offensive lineman David Diehl announced his retirement Friday. Diehl, 33, spent his entire 11-year career with the Giants after being selected in the fifth round of the 2003 draft. "I've accomplished everything I could possibly dream of as a football player," Diehl said. "If in 2003, anyone would have said that Dave Diehl, a fifth-round draft pick out of Illinois, would win two Super Bowls, play in the Pro Bowl and win every single Giant award possible, people would have said you're crazy. I have a lot to be proud of." Diehl was known for his versatility and toughness in a career that saw him miss just 12 games. He started at right tackle and right guard this season and played every position along the line except center in his tenure with the team. The Giants' offensive line is expected to receive a major overhaul after a terrible 2013. The team ranked 29th in rushing at 83.3 yards per game and gave up 40 sacks, twice as many as in 2012.

Absolutely not. Not consistent, can't stay healthy, always complains, and chokes in clutch situations. Keep McCown for cheap, then work on getting some oline help
-
Just give them a red jersey already, and not let anyone hit them. Better yet, let's turn the NFL into flag football. smh

Was AP the most deserving?

Yeah, cause everyone knows what he did was anything short of remarkable. The type of injury, the normal time of rehab, and how frequent he's been injured through his career made what he did this year truly exceptional. But let us as fans, and the media, and your fellow NFL collegues praise you, and say you deserve it. Have a little sense of humbleness. That's all I'm asking. I believe they both should've shared the award for both MVP and comeback player. Just my opinion tho -
David Wilson/Andre Brown duo is born. true Thunder and Lightning. Also have to throw Reuben Randle at WR. Last game of the season he had 3 TD's in the 1st half, granted it was versus the Eagles. I think Josh Freeman is on the hot seat right now. I think he comes up big with a breakout year. Golden Tate will become a top 10 WR imo this year. Tons more I can't think of right now

I'm not a fan of players that self promote themselves for awards. The fact that he said on tv several times that he thought he deserved it, and Peyton said nothing cause Peyton let's the fans, media, and league do the talking about his game. -
Hope he comes to the Giants. Martellus Bennett has said several times he'd loved to play with his brother, and Martellus Bennett is going to come back. We could actually a young pass rusher on the opposite side of JPP, especially since this may be Tuck's last year

Cris Carter: Larry Fitzgerald is the only receiver with hands like mine
Plax 4 Prez replied to BLUE's topic in General NFL Talk
First off, I hate when players talk about themselves being this or being that. To me if you're great, or one of the all time greats then let other ppl recongize that and say. Let the media, fans, and critics do the talking. -
Yeah, he looked good out there on ST, but he needs to learn how to be a better RB still. Pass protections is still shaky

Many things went wrong. The Eli pick was an ill-advised pass into double coverage in the red zone, Eli's bad pass to Barden that basically forced him to pass interfere their CB, and even to pass in that situation with 36 secs on the 26 yard line when all they needed was to do one last run the center the ball for a kicker who had made every kick this season. Tom know's he screwed up. He over thought the situation and is now paying the price for it. Still, after pretty much being forced to punt every drive early on, the Eagles looked really good taking the ball down the field for a score every drive after. Granted mainly FG's but still points. They deserved the win for sure, sad to say for me, but true.

Victor Cruz's 99-yard TD in a crucial part of the game versus the Jets.
