  2. These aren't bold predictions. This is mediocrity penetrating the minds of the bored members here during the off-season.

Your explanations are short and poor for many of these games.

As mentioned before, 7-9 for the Falcons is beyond laughable, making a majority of these outcomes invalid by default.

    Try harder.

I will say I've seen the Miami train building around here, I don't see why. They aren't even second best in the AFC East. Patriots and Bills are still better teams, no matter how much Miami spent.

Addressing all the Falcons comments, I'm sorry if my post offended you. I'm being bold. The Falcons haven't won a divisional title since 2010 and it's because the Saints had such a terrible year. And although, I didn't watch every game last year, the games I watched made me think, "Wow, this team's not as good as everyone says." Let me explain. The first game I watched was Week 2, versus Denver. They looked good. They looked solid. The refs were terrible and I eventually turned it off but that was a big win. Week 4 versus Carolina. They were down the whole time. If I remember correctly, it was a blown coverage last second play that got them the win. But they were getting beat. Week 11. Matt Ryan had 5 picks. 5! You don't deserve to win a game with those numbers. But they did, because Cardinals suck. Week 12, Buccaneers miss the field goal as time expires. Lucky break. These are the games they won. What concerns me is the games they lost. All 3 were to their NFC South rivals.

But the biggest giveaway is the way they handled the Seahawks and 49ers in the playoffs. It seems to me like this team didn't know what to do in crunch time. They were leading Seattle 27-7 in the 4th quarter and completely fell apart. Down 28-27, their kicker saved them. But they should've never been in that position in the first place. Then it happened again next week! They had the Niners beat! And then they imploded and let them come back from 17 points down. This team had one chance last year, and they blew it.

As for Miami, you're right, they're a big gamble. Nothing I've seen yet makes me believe they're worthy of even a playoff spot. However, I believe the AFC East is now the worst division in football. And they've done all they can to surround Tannehill with players. Maybe they won't make this much of a splash, but I think they have the potential to.

I made all these predictions before choosing seeds or final records. So, let's see how they turned out.

    AFC WEST

Denver Broncos* (13-3) (Number 1 seed in the AFC)

San Diego Chargers* (10-6) (Good for them)

    Oakland Raiders (6-10)

Kansas City Chiefs (5-11) (I was pretty rough on them. I'm waiting for some proof)

    AFC SOUTH

    Houston Texans* (10-6)

Indianapolis Colts (9-7) (Andrew Luck just misses playoffs)

    Tennessee Titans (8-8)

    Jacksonville Jaguars (6-10)

    AFC NORTH

    Cincinnati Bengals* (10-6)

Baltimore Ravens (9-7) (3rd time in 5 seasons Super Bowl Champions miss playoffs)

Pittsburgh Steelers (7-9) (This is too safe. They'll either be playoffs or terrible)

Cleveland Browns (5-11) (They're a better team than their record shows)

    AFC EAST

New England Patriots* (11-5) (Just another day in the life of Tom Brady)

    Miami Dolphins* (9-7)

    Buffalo Bills (7-9)

    New York Jets (5-11)

    NFC WEST

San Francisco 49ers* (12-4) (Number 2 seed in the NFC)

    St. Louis Rams* (9-7)

Seattle Seahawks (8-8) (They're not going to repeat. Mark my words)

    Arizona Cardinals (5-11)

    NFC SOUTH

    New Orleans Saints* (10-6)

Atlanta Falcons (7-9) (I don't trust this team when they matter most.)

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-10)

Carolina Panthers (4-12) (I didn't pick this team to have the #1 pick in the 2014 draft before. Must be a tough schedule)

    NFC NORTH

Green Bay Packers* (12-4) (That Week 1 revenge game turns out to be the tiebreaker)

Detroit Lions* (10-6) (Hit or Miss. I'm rolling the dice)

    Minnesota Vikings (7-9) (Sorry AP)

    Chicago Bears (6-10)

    NFC EAST

    New York Giants* (10-6)

Washington Redskins (8-8) (1 game short, they had the tiebreaker of New York)

    Dallas Cowboys (6-10)

Philadelphia Eagles (6-10) (Prove you're as good as you say)

    Wild Card Round

    6) Miami Dolphins-24 at 3) Cincinnati Bengals-21 (Can they not win a playoff game? Try again next year Cincy. You'll be back)

    5) San Diego Chargers-7 at 4) Houston Texans-10 (Surprisingly low scoring, grinding game. Houston has more experience)

    6) St. Louis Rams-6 at 3) New York Giants-14 (They step up big in the playoffs, especially against a rookie postseason team)

    5) Detroit Lions-37 at 4) New Orleans Saints-32 (Lions have a better defense and can stop the Saints offense more often in this game between 2 5000+ yard passers.)

    Divisional Round

    6) Miami Dolphins-24 at 1) Denver Broncos-20 (They beat up on the worser teams in the regular season, but Peyton missed out on the clutch gene in his family. Tannehill will show he's got it.)

    4) Houston Texans-13 at 2) New England Patriots-24 (We've seen this game before guys.)

    5) Detroit Lions-20 at 1) Green Bay Packers-39 (I just see this game becoming one-sided really quick)

    3) New York Giants-23 at 2) San Francisco 49ers-30 (Colin Kaepernick is the real thing. He shows it with a 4th quarter comeback over Mr. Clutch himself.)

    Championship Round

    6) Miami Dolphins-20 at 2) New England Patriots-40 (The miraculous run ends at the team that knows the Dolphins inside and out)

    2) Green Bay Packers-20 at 1) San Francisco 49ers-24 (Kap won't be able to run like he did last year, but the run game will still be strong. Defense wins championships.)

    SUPER BOWL

    San Francisco 49ers-23

    New England Patriots-21

It seems like Patriots are a little lucky to be here, only beating the Texans and Dolphins. Their team isn't as strong as it's been the past decade, even with a strong running game. But they've had their ups and downs. The only constant is Brady and Belichick, and that's what makes this team great. San Fran has really stepped up the last couple of years, with back to back Championship games. They are young, smart, and freakin good together. Time will tell of course whether they keep it up, but I don't see them losing a fair game to anyone right now. This game will be good, and not as high-scoring as you think. They played last year and Brady did all he could to lead his team out of a 28-point hole. But with another time to plan, Belichick and Jim Harbaugh will study these teams like hell and have fantastic gameplans. I give the QB edge to Brady, but surprisingly, the offense as a whole to 49ers. Defense and Special Teams also go to Niners. The only thing keeping this game close is Brady. And damn, if he's not gonna give it all he's got.
