I have a past DWI. I'm just lucky that I never killed anyone. The sad thing is, I never called a cab once until after the DWI. Now, I don't even hesitate.

History leads me to 8-8. My gut tells me 6-10.

I'm not opposed to Brent coming back. Yes, the D-line sucks bad enough I choose to ignore my morals. Sue me.

They have a great chance. I fully expect the Cowboys to collapse, er, continue their collapse. NY is surging, and not to knock on their 4 game win streak, but they've faced Freeman, Barkley, Pryor and Tolzien. But momentum is momentum, no matter where it comes from. I just don't see their recent success continuing (although I'm fully aware of what Eli and co. are capable of). Like I said, possible, but I don't see it happening, although I do still think they have a slight chance of taking the NFCE. At this point, I really think the division is the Eagles' to lose.

Who'd have thought Austin's hamstring problems were contagious. What I'm hearing is Lee may be back after the Giants game. Apparently he's borrowed TO's hyperbaric chamber.

All I can think when I look at your posts is "come on titty!!"

I remember that one time Free was good. Seems like so long ago...oh wait, it was.

I saw a topic on ESPN earlier titled "Romo Ready to Lead" All I could think was "same shit, different season." Johnson isn't too far off. Except, Romo isn't the thief, Jerry Jones is.

The way it should be: He's welcomed back to the sidelines as he is supported by his team. The way it is: He's a distraction on the sidelines because of everyone else watching and the fact that someone died. It's reality vs. perception.
-
It was definitely a bad idea for Brent to be on the sidelines. He's not a murderer, a bad person, or any of that. He made a choice, as did Brown, and they both have to pay for that choice. I'm glad the team supports him but that was just a dumb move. It shouldn't be that way, but like I tell my employees, there are 2 things going on: 1) the way it should be, and 2) the way it is. I've gotten behind the wheel drunk before, and have one DWI on record. It's stupid and there's no excuse for it. Thank God I didn't kill anyone or I could be in the same boat. It could happen to millions and millions of people every day. That doesn't make it any better, but it also doesn't make Josh Brent a murderer. That's just assinine. The crime doesn't fit any of the institutional, educational, or legal descriptions and definitions of the word murder. That's why it's called manslaughter. Also, it doesn't matter if his BAC was .01 or .50, if you have alcohol in your system, it's going to be a manslaughter charge. Same with weed. If you got high yesterday and hit someone today, they're going to give you a blood test and you're going to have a hard time beating a manslaughter charge with THC in your system, no matter what the level is. Keep that in mind, call a cab, and be safe out there. Our laws most often help people, but sometimes, they can make even the innocent look guilty as hell.

Aside from the point, but I think Vick must have been battling a concussion before the Dallas game, or earlier in the game than the play where he came out. Where he [was] tripped, it didn't look that bad when his head hit the ground. It really didn't even look like his head did hit the ground on that play. These guys have to do a better job of protecting their squash.
-
It might just be me, but it seems every time I watch Philly, Vick is running for his life getting creamed every other play. No quarterback can have success like that.
-
Romo is good, but Parcells was right about him: you have to reign him in. Jason Garrett doesn't do that.
-
I thought they both played well. Dallas was beat up and worn out by the end of the fourth, which has been Dallas's problem for years. Dallas couldn't finish. Atlanta did.
-
2 days I think.

His passing can't get here soon enough for me; that's the only way he gives up the reigns. I'll miss him and his antics, but I'll be happy to see the team in anyone else's hands.

Aqib Talib traded to the Patriots

The guy was taking Aderall. Big f'ing deal. I know it helps mentally, not so much physically, but honestly I think a lot more football players should probably be on Aderall. I love the stuff myself. I wrote several term papers and studied many finals weeks and only survived college on the heels of Aderall. If the guy can play, the Patriots got a good deal. There probably aren't too many 4th round cornerbacks that can hang with Talib. -
This is how you handle these types of things. Don't just go punching someone in the face. <coughs> Dez Bryant <cough>
-
Personally, I like both of these guys and in the games I've seen them play, they both are always running for their lives. No qb can have success like that. Stafford seems to need a better qb coach to help him with the basics. His footwork looks pretty bad. Cam just needs a little more experience and better offensive play calls.

What do you guys know about Ernie Sims?

Exactly. One more thing: WHO THE F*** ICES THEIR OWN KICKER?!?!?!
