Total PR move. They dont even have a pick in the first two rounds. This odd announcement (by their standards), stinks of Kraft manipulation.

Thanks everyone....and I felt I just had to get my thoughts out. I am absorbing all the things shared here and taking it all in. I have limited info, and that makes things tough. I think that my reaction was coming from a place of disgust at many Colt fans on .com, merely sweeping it under the rug because of how talented the guy is. I keep things pretty much to myself as evidenced by my lack of participation in the political threads. In the end...healing for all is what I hope for.

I would like to add that I truly hope both he and the woman involved in the first incident, are able to move on from this and have it be a minimal affect on their respective lives.

Colts signed a lot of backers. We are thin on the line. Adams could 5 tech...maybe bring pressure from the edge. If he can get to full season pro conditioning, he could be a player.

If he had been there for the Colts, I would have taken King.

Super busy.....made a decision to move my business. Tomorrow I will be busy from 11am Pacific to probably 5ish. If the Colts pick is not available by 10:30...it will be in the evening.

With the 49th pick in the 2017 NFL draft, the Washington Redskins select... Jarrad Davis Linebacker Florida Gators Nice pick, Bjorn. If the Colts had not signed so many LB's in FA, that would have been my pick. Equal value to me with Charles Harris, but a bit more of a current need.

Razor’s Zero Research, One Round, Two Facepalms, Mock Draft
Warhorse replied to RazorStar's topic in NFL Draft
"4. Jacksonville Jags: OJ Howard, TE, Alabama The Jags are a mess. They spend so much money is free agency trying to bolster their defense and it just isn’t producing results. Blake Bortles isn’t good, TJ Yeldon isn’t good, their offensive line is in shambles, the whole team is a laugh. If there were any offensive linemen worth taking early, I’d recommend it. Sadly there isn’t. If the Jags are still committed to the Bortles experiment, you have to give him some help, which is why Howard is going here. The Jags are counting too much on their free agents from other teams to fill their many gaps." That would be historical, since 1967 and the slotting of draft picks, no TE has ever went sooner than the 6th spot.- 5 replies

Would have taken him (Watson) if he had lasted, but the Chiefs could use more pressure. I seriously considered Taco at the Colts spot.

FF is Fantasy Football...a game of imaginary ownership of your own chosen players where fans stop rooting for a team...and root more for individual players. To each his own, but when I see a fan watching a particular player for his performance, rather than watching his team...it indicates to me a change in how fans follow the game. As far as the length of the games, commercials interrupt far more than penalties do. I am old enough to remember commercials were only at the 15, the 30, and the 45 minute mark. So when comparing penalties of the past to today, it helps to also compare commercial time of the past, compared to today. Again, it is each fans like and dislike. I would rather see a game where players are held to a standard that is consistent across the league. I truly abhor games where a team is suddenly able to get away with ridiculous holding, and a game in another town is getting called for everything. Players push limits. If it isn't reffed, some will take it as far as they can to see what they can get away with. So maybe the high penalty calls are being added to by coaches telling their players to push the limits? It's a thought to be considered.
