Sean drafts the "Goose", 2.0

I'm not saying this isn't a conversation that should be have, especially as I'm joining in on it, but at this point, having this conversation is textbook insanity imo. Because it's one we are going to have every single year, for at last a couple players. From a draft perspective though, pretty much what Chery said is all that needs to be imo.The fact there is a video is the reason why so many people -not everyone- is outraged by this. Textbook Ray Rice scenario. He deserves every single bit of hardship he's had to endure since putting his hands on her, imo. From the media crucifixion, to wherever he gets drafted, if he gets drafted come draft day(s).But at some point people (again not everyone) need to check the hypocrisy at the door. And while I understand you aren't really looking for an argument Warhorse, I think your attempt at making us all see how wrong this is by asking us to put ourselves in a situation where this might be our sister or daughter is a bit of faulty logic. I would throw hands at anyone who put their hands on any of my four sisters... But my sisters, and my future daughter (god willing) were also taught to keep their hands to themselves, and that every action has consequences, so in the same way you'd hope your brothers and sons wouldn't put their hands on a woman, you'd hope a woman would understand the same thing. Thanks everyone....and I felt I just had to get my thoughts out. I am absorbing all the things shared here and taking it all in. I have limited info, and that makes things tough. I think that my reaction was coming from a place of disgust at many Colt fans on .com, merely sweeping it under the rug because of how talented the guy is. I keep things pretty much to myself as evidenced by my lack of participation in the political threads.
In the end...healing for all is what I hope for.

This has been on my mind for a while, and I just need to say my piece here. I know that by opening my grille, I invite criticism, and I'm ok with that. I just want to be clear and say I am not looking for an argument, just putting my opinion out into the world, but please give your opinion whether you agree or not.
The high profile incident where he punched a woman and broke her facial bones after she verbally abused him and hit him, has serious opinions attached to it.
I do believe in getting second chances, but I also believe in indicators of serious behavioral tendencies. IMO, we are not talking about just an incident where a young person did something stupid. That cliche does not cover every instance in life. Expressing anger without control can be devastating, if not...life threatening. I would like to interject at this time that this isn't just the fact that she had broken bones in her face that will heal. She could very well have continuing pain, a changed look to her face, as well as lifetime complicated issues such as headaches, hearing loss, and TMJ (Jaw alignment issues).
I want to clarify that I am in no way saying that she was right, allowed, or forgiven for her part in whatever happened. Regardless, The inability to realize that devastation of his actions (Mixon), shows a behavioral issue that goes far beyond a young kid making a mistake IMO. He has a second incident where he had issues with a parking citation. At the very least, I would be troubled if the team I follow chose to draft him.
If a fan was to say, "I don't care what a player does off the field, I want them to be a monster on the field", I would ask, would you honestly feel that same way if it was your daughter that got her face broken?

Colts signed a lot of backers. We are thin on the line. Adams could 5 tech...maybe bring pressure from the edge. If he can get to full season pro conditioning, he could be a player.

Super busy.....made a decision to move my business. Tomorrow I will be busy from 11am Pacific to probably 5ish. If the Colts pick is not available by 10:30...it will be in the evening.

You aren't even taking players you want, you are just targeting potential packer picks to turn them into a room of sad pandas.

With the 49th pick in the 2017 NFL draft, the Washington Redskins select...
Jarrad Davis Linebacker Florida GatorsNice pick, Bjorn. If the Colts had not signed so many LB's in FA, that would have been my pick. Equal value to me with Charles Harris, but a bit more of a current need. -

"4. Jacksonville Jags: OJ Howard, TE, Alabama
The Jags are a mess. They spend so much money is free agency trying to bolster their defense and it just isn’t producing results. Blake Bortles isn’t good, TJ Yeldon isn’t good, their offensive line is in shambles, the whole team is a laugh. If there were any offensive linemen worth taking early, I’d recommend it. Sadly there isn’t. If the Jags are still committed to the Bortles experiment, you have to give him some help, which is why Howard is going here. The Jags are counting too much on their free agents from other teams to fill their many gaps."
That would be historical, since 1967 and the slotting of draft picks, no TE has ever went sooner than the 6th spot.

Would have taken him (Watson) if he had lasted, but the Chiefs could use more pressure. I seriously considered Taco at the Colts spot.

With the 27th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select:
Taco Charlton - Edge - Michigan

What is FF? Also, I firmly believe my interest is waning because of the absurd amount of PI penalties called these days as well as the stupid review process. Games don't need to be 3-4 hours long. The NFL needs to look at what college football has turned into and avoid that at all costs.
My interest in the Wild has gone way up but I don't follow all of hockey religiously.
FF is Fantasy Football...a game of imaginary ownership of your own chosen players where fans stop rooting for a team...and root more for individual players. To each his own, but when I see a fan watching a particular player for his performance, rather than watching his team...it indicates to me a change in how fans follow the game.
As far as the length of the games, commercials interrupt far more than penalties do. I am old enough to remember commercials were only at the 15, the 30, and the 45 minute mark. So when comparing penalties of the past to today, it helps to also compare commercial time of the past, compared to today. Again, it is each fans like and dislike. I would rather see a game where players are held to a standard that is consistent across the league. I truly abhor games where a team is suddenly able to get away with ridiculous holding, and a game in another town is getting called for everything.
Players push limits. If it isn't reffed, some will take it as far as they can to see what they can get away with. So maybe the high penalty calls are being added to by coaches telling their players to push the limits? It's a thought to be considered.

All the pundits have been touting RB's, secondary, edge, and pressure. Now watch the WR's be the best of this year down the road.......
