Wilson's (and Heart's) effect on music alone should get her the nod. There is no Amy Lee without her. Plus she's a damn fine singer.

I don't care for a big part of his repertoire so I don't want to vote for him, regardless of his talent.

My thoughts run mostly in line with this, Blue. My personal favorite from this group is Buckley. Dude never misses a note and can sing anything. On top of this, his writing ability and his ability to make any song his own (regardless of who wrote it) is pretty impressive. Serj's voice is very limited but rather unique sounding, plus he was a part of one of the most popular rock band of the early part of last decade (when there was kind of a derth of popular and halfway decent rock acts out there.) So I think this one could be close. I would pick Buckley all day every day. Here let me pitch a song for him. Here's one of my favorites that's not Hallelujah... There's a pretty solid version of a cover of Night Flight out there, if you're interested in more.

I honestly don't have a dog in this fight. I think Luck is solid and it wouldn't surprise if he was better when he scrambles than some others but the stats are incomplete in a number of ways. How successful were the scrambling plays? Did they make completions, ints, 1st downs, critical conversions, tds? There are some really notable guys missing. Aaron Rodgers and Big Ben are mobile. Heck Pryor and Alex Smith had more yards. Vick and Foles came close despite not playing nearly as many downs. It's not nearly a complete look. I also am not positive I agree with his method or his objectivity when analyzing plays. I have to take his word that certain things happened when it appears that he has a man crush on Luck while kinda hating on all others. He's particularly hard on Kaep in his commentary and I'm not sure I think Luck is all that much better at anything than Kaepernick. When he has a chance to be critical of Luck to lend any amount of credibility to his "objective" opinion he says this instead: Luck was impressive even on a lot of negative plays. He always tried to keep plays alive, running extremely late in the down and rarely compromising his physical readiness to throw.

The stats are really incomplete. The guy looks like he decided Luck was the best and then went about trying to prove it with half stats. He's the Van Daniken of sports bloggers.

It's a shame Gilmour or Van Zant has to lose. Can't really go wrong with either. Kennedy is a standout in this round. Don't care for either in the first matchup and Scott would be my choice in the last because despite finding his voice grating, at the time, there was nothing quite like him in rock. Of course, amazingly, AcDC found a replacement that had a really similar quality to his voice so I guess take that fwiw.

I'd say it is a good thing, at least for me. It seems to work with anything I plug it into without having to look up anything on google which I found myself doing a lot with the s3 and thunderbolt I had previously. We'll see if it holds up down the stretch.

I guess I shouldn't have opened this can of worms. For my purposes, which are pretty limited, I noticed very little difference in the capabilities for what I want it for. Basically I use it as a phone that can do some other fun stuff. So far the Iphone seems like its held up better than my past two phones (both Androids), but I've only had it for a little over a year. My last phone was sent back at least once by now for fixing for overheating.

I've heard people talk about how there's so much you can do with an android instead of apple but I've had a couple and didn't see any big difference between that and my current iPhone so can someone enlighten me about this.

It started as a a way to honor dead confederate soldiers after the Civil War as Decoration Day. Each community kinda had their own day they did this and grew into a nation wide tradition and eventually a national holiday. I hadn't ever heard of it in terms of non military dead family members but it wouldn't surprise me.
