    Last Poster Wins!

With how rare it is that anyone logs on anymore, I'm fairly certain I will actually win this

  9. I actually think the Cardinals and Steelers are two of the toughest teams. Chiefs Steelers is going to be such a magnificent sight to behold on the AFCCG and can't wait to see who pulls that one out. If we can get some supreme health and consistent play from the defense we can hang, but it won't be smooth sailing...

    2019 NFL Draft Discussion Thread

Man there some dumb dumbs up in here. All the Kyler Murray hate and he's one of the best players in the league this year and might win the Super Bowl. Also.... DK METCALF BITCH
  11. Alright guys we're within 50 hours of this thing launching, so let's fire it up! Go ahead and predict away, post your mock drafts, or post your wishful thinking. Who will be the future hall of famers in this draft? Won't be long now before it's too late to call your shots, so call 'em
  12. Antonio Brown posted is official farewell to the Pittsburgh Steelers fanbase thanking them for 9 amazing years. Adam Schefter also reported that he has requested a trade. If the Steelers in fact don't trade this guy, they're going to be send a very weird message to the team setting a precedent that this type of behavior of putting yourself before the team is okay. The Steelers claimed that they would not be open to trading him within the division or to the New England Patriots. Antonio makes 14m a year and has voiced that he's unhappy with that number and wants more, so if a team doesn't have that much its a long shot that he goes there. John Clayton has made a lot of good points. San Francisco makes sense because he's expressed a desire to play there. Oakland makes a lot of sense due to the fact that they have 3 1st round draft picks this year and have a huge need at receiver. The Buccaneers make sense because Bruce Arians, someone who was around AB a lot in Pittsburgh spoke highly about Brown a month or two ago. Not a lot of other teams make sense as there is an ENORMOUS baggage factor with Brown, he's expensive, he's not young, but there are lots of dumb GMs out there and he will sell tickets and is the best WR in the world from a talent perspective and could make almost any team a playoff contender immediately. I would prefer he not be traded but it looks like a serious long shot at this point.

  17. Spring training for MLB. Suspended. MLB regular season: delayed for two weeks (for now). NBA season: suspended with two of its very own players (Utah Jazz) now testing positive for the virus. The NCAA just announced they are going full on cancellation for ALL remaining basketball games for the season. Not delayed, not prohibited from having any spectators. March Madness and all tournament / championship games will cease to even exist in 2020. A lot of you are probably assuming due to the timing of NFL season that the NFL won't be affected by this. You're actually dead wrong. I'm not trying to join the hysteria or become one of those people that are trying to blow this out of proportion or anything. They said on SportsCenter just a lil bit ago that the league is trying to find a uniform way for all teams to operate under. Apparently teams in the areas that are more affected by the virus than others are taking this so seriously that they aren't even visiting with free agents or potential draft picks due to potential health-risks. This creates an unfair advantage for franchises in areas that aren't affected by this virus, or at least to the same extent. Where do we go from here? Is it right to just outright cancel events rather than delay them and keep all possibilities open for May, June, etc? Are we going to just have the NFL draft be held over the internet and television like its fantasy football or something? Does the MLB season get cut in half, or do we have the season go into the 2021 year and play in the frigid snowy seasons and just cancel the offseason?
  18. Hi. I run this place. What you want.
  19. Waaaait a minute, are you saying that this year there's a 3rd wild card spot? I thought the new rules that were implemented such as the 17th game and all that took effect next year. You're usually right a lot more often than myself though. So I'm assuming you're gunna be right. Wow. There's a "sky judge" official this year too. Somehow the Saints will probably still get screwed anyway
  20. Would be interested to hear how perspectives and opinions on this have changed. From the get-go, I kind of took this "keep-going-mostly-normally-but-with-added-caution-and-extra-grace-shown-to-others" kind of approach, and that seems to be the way. Obviously it will be a half of year before we see a world where the circumstances will have us forget this ever happened, but we obviously have to keep doing all the things. I've been out hiking a ton. For those couple weeks in March when tensity was at its peak I didn't go and got extremely depressed. It's keeping me in line emotionally right now like nothing else can. Anything politics lately has just made me really depressed and makes my skin crawl. It always did but to absurd extremes lately.
  21. 16 days until we get a much-needed major sporting event to get our attention on something else for a week. Felt like tons of reaches all over the place, like half the NFL teams were watching completely different college football games than the rest of us. The Giants, Falcons, Ravens, Chiefs all made out like bandits while us, the Packers, Eagles, Patriots, and Raiders all drunk
  23. Stunned: Ruggs and Arnette being the Raiders plan The Packers continual inability to help Rodgers, but they think they have the resources to get his eventual replacement 3 years in advance Seattle not plugging their biggest holes in the trenches Picks I thought were the best, good fits, and will be the most successful: 2. Chase Young DE Ohio State - Washington Redskins 8. Isaiah Simmons LB/S Clemson. - Arizona Cardinals 14. Javon Kinlaw DT South Carolina. - San Francisco 49ers 15. Jerry Jeudy WR Alabama. - Denver Broncos 17. CeeDee Lamb WR Oklahoma. - Dallas Cowboys 20. K'Lavon Chaisson DE LSU. - Jacksonville Jaguars 28. Patrick Queen LB LSU. - Baltimore Ravens 32. Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB LSU - Chiefs Players slightly surprised are still available : Xavier Mckinney S Alabama Deandre Swift RB Georgia Denzel Mims WR Baylor AJ Epenesa DE Iowa
  24. I don't mind at all that the best player available isn't getting taken so far or that teams like NYG aren't trading down. Isaiah Simmons fallin' way too far but I'm happy for him going to better a better situation.
