About to get started on the final touches for this bad-boy. I worked pretty hard getting all of the visuals in their proper place and looking as sharp as I possibly could. I'm still open to changes on those. What I've yet to do is fix a couple grammatical issues, and maybe re-arrange some of the text if somebody directs me to doing so. Just want to make sure nothing looks screwy before going and working hard on the final touches before realizing something major needs to be changed. I basically took the notion that it is a well-known theory that working out (or staying active, to put it broadly) is just as crucial for our mental and emotional aspects as it is for fighting physical diseases and being overall physically healthy. http://img542.imageshack.us/img542/8954/2e7l.png

Antonio Brown posted is official farewell to the Pittsburgh Steelers fanbase thanking them for 9 amazing years. Adam Schefter also reported that he has requested a trade. If the Steelers in fact don't trade this guy, they're going to be send a very weird message to the team setting a precedent that this type of behavior of putting yourself before the team is okay. The Steelers claimed that they would not be open to trading him within the division or to the New England Patriots. Antonio makes 14m a year and has voiced that he's unhappy with that number and wants more, so if a team doesn't have that much its a long shot that he goes there. John Clayton has made a lot of good points. San Francisco makes sense because he's expressed a desire to play there. Oakland makes a lot of sense due to the fact that they have 3 1st round draft picks this year and have a huge need at receiver. The Buccaneers make sense because Bruce Arians, someone who was around AB a lot in Pittsburgh spoke highly about Brown a month or two ago. Not a lot of other teams make sense as there is an ENORMOUS baggage factor with Brown, he's expensive, he's not young, but there are lots of dumb GMs out there and he will sell tickets and is the best WR in the world from a talent perspective and could make almost any team a playoff contender immediately. I would prefer he not be traded but it looks like a serious long shot at this point.

https://www.mlb.com/news/mookie-betts-trade-red-sox-dodgers After months of speculation, Mookie Betts is heading west. The Red Sox have agreed to trade the star outfielder, as well as lefty starter David Price, to the Dodgers, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan. Neither team has confirmed the news. A source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand that the Twins are the third team involved in the deal. The baseball world is processing a blockbuster trade. Betts is one of Major League Baseball’s best players; he won the 2018 American League MVP Award and has placed in the top 10 in MVP voting three other times in the span of his six-year career. Last year, Betts hit .295 with 29 homers and scored a Major League-best 135 runs for Boston. Betts is also a four-time Gold Glove Award winner who can handle any position in the outfield. According to FanGraphs’ version of WAR, Betts has been the sport’s second-most valuable player behind Mike Trout since his first full season in 2015. The Red Sox have been searching for solutions to their payroll situation throughout the winter in order to avoid paying the penalty for exceeding the competitive balance tax threshold (CBT) for a third time. The CBT threshold for the 2020 season is $208 million, and Boston’s CBT payroll figure stood at roughly $228 million, per Cot’s Baseball Contracts, as of this morning. The Red Sox would have to pay a 50% tax on the overages if they remain over the CBT threshold by Opening Day. Betts is owed $27 million this year aftersettling with the Red Sox to avoid arbitration, and he is set to lead the free-agent market next offseason. Therefore, Boston’s goals were twofold: offload salary to try and get under the CBT threshold, and recoup value for its superstar, Betts, before he potentially departed via free agency. Who are your favorite prospects you'll be watching closely despite who they get drafted by? What are your wishes for your particular teams? Which teams will dominate this year? How will the quarterbacks be distributed? What else is on your mind in relation to the draft this year? Where will you watch and who will you watch with? Super into seeing where Saquan Barkley and Minkah Fitzpatrick this year. Barkley is already one of my favorite players in the NFL. After what I learned in our collective TGP mock draft, Joshua Jackson could be a sweet pick up but I definetely vote for trading down and acquiring a 2nd and a 3rd since we have none of those. Give me a legit starting CB, WR, and TE prioritized over other positions please. Discuss

I actually think the Cardinals and Steelers are two of the toughest teams. Chiefs Steelers is going to be such a magnificent sight to behold on the AFCCG and can't wait to see who pulls that one out. If we can get some supreme health and consistent play from the defense we can hang, but it won't be smooth sailing...

Man there some dumb dumbs up in here. All the Kyler Murray hate and he's one of the best players in the league this year and might win the Super Bowl. Also.... DK METCALF BITCH

Alright guys we're within 50 hours of this thing launching, so let's fire it up! Go ahead and predict away, post your mock drafts, or post your wishful thinking. Who will be the future hall of famers in this draft? Won't be long now before it's too late to call your shots, so call 'em

Spring training for MLB. Suspended. MLB regular season: delayed for two weeks (for now). NBA season: suspended with two of its very own players (Utah Jazz) now testing positive for the virus. The NCAA just announced they are going full on cancellation for ALL remaining basketball games for the season. Not delayed, not prohibited from having any spectators. March Madness and all tournament / championship games will cease to even exist in 2020. A lot of you are probably assuming due to the timing of NFL season that the NFL won't be affected by this. You're actually dead wrong. I'm not trying to join the hysteria or become one of those people that are trying to blow this out of proportion or anything. They said on SportsCenter just a lil bit ago that the league is trying to find a uniform way for all teams to operate under. Apparently teams in the areas that are more affected by the virus than others are taking this so seriously that they aren't even visiting with free agents or potential draft picks due to potential health-risks. This creates an unfair advantage for franchises in areas that aren't affected by this virus, or at least to the same extent. Where do we go from here? Is it right to just outright cancel events rather than delay them and keep all possibilities open for May, June, etc? Are we going to just have the NFL draft be held over the internet and television like its fantasy football or something? Does the MLB season get cut in half, or do we have the season go into the 2021 year and play in the frigid snowy seasons and just cancel the offseason?

Hi. I run this place. What you want.

Waaaait a minute, are you saying that this year there's a 3rd wild card spot? I thought the new rules that were implemented such as the 17th game and all that took effect next year. You're usually right a lot more often than myself though. So I'm assuming you're gunna be right. Wow. There's a "sky judge" official this year too. Somehow the Saints will probably still get screwed anyway

Would be interested to hear how perspectives and opinions on this have changed. From the get-go, I kind of took this "keep-going-mostly-normally-but-with-added-caution-and-extra-grace-shown-to-others" kind of approach, and that seems to be the way. Obviously it will be a half of year before we see a world where the circumstances will have us forget this ever happened, but we obviously have to keep doing all the things. I've been out hiking a ton. For those couple weeks in March when tensity was at its peak I didn't go and got extremely depressed. It's keeping me in line emotionally right now like nothing else can. Anything politics lately has just made me really depressed and makes my skin crawl. It always did but to absurd extremes lately.
