Rules of Engagement. Even though David Spade makes me want to stab myself in the eye with a dull spoon, the show is actually quite damn funny.

My youngest sister is just like that about the Redskins. Her knowledge of the game in general sometimes outshines even my own, which is quite impressive. her husband thanks me all of the time for teaching her to love football. I can't take all of the credit though, as she was very close to our grandfather and he was a Redskins season-ticket holder for 30 years before he passed.

I likely won't know my exact plans until I get to church on Sunday morning. Seeing as the folks at church are the only people that I know...although they are typically hardcore against watching any kind of sports on Sunday. I do know of a few of them who had been talking about plans to watch the game. If not them, I guess I will either watch from home or maybe see if any of my Navy friends have to work Sunday. I am not too keen on hanging out with them because I know there will be copious amounts of alcohol, and I don't drink any longer.

I hate walking around in wet socks. Probably more than I hate anything in the world. Except for the Dallas Cowboys.

Would this even have been brought up by the Rep from Virginia had Romney won the Presidency? It is just more of the bitterness over the GOP not giving the nod to a better candidate. (To be honest, I thought that Romney had the best chance to unseat Obama back at the start of the election process.)

Umm...grammar fail? Or is it a Chiabone fail? I couldn't make much sense out of that opening sentence. Anyway, the founders leaving the company kind of goes to show that power that we as a fanbase can have. He clearly admits that the "negative fan reactions" had something to do wit them leaving the company. While I don't think that any of us wanted them to leave, we bitched enough about the ME3 ending that it seemed as though they felt they had no choice...unless I am misreading.

Trouble With The Curve. I had trouble staying awake, honestly. I will be attempting to watch it again tonight. I was out kind of late as the DD for my roommates last night, so that is likely why I fell asleep halfway through. -
Better than having top-7 picks year in and year out...

lol. I only ended up having to drive like 10 minutes. I guess with all of the Oscar buzz surrounding the movie, they decided to bring it back. -
That is what I thought, too. I think that the last time the loser of the popular vote won based on the electoral college votes was 2000, GW over Gore.

The Dresden Files. I just started reading my second Dresden Files novel and found out there was a short-lived television series from SyFy Channel back in 2007, so I decided to check out on Netflix. Not too terrible, but nothing great.

Silver Linings Playbook. Simply fantastic. Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence were able to give, what I believe, are the oerformances of their careers. Cooper's potrayal of a man battling bi-polar disorder was pretty damn excellent (I myself have been battling bi-polar disorder for several years), it really was impressive to see him puill it off. Jennifer Lawrence seems to be pretty great in every role she takes on, but this is her finest performance yet, even better than her breatout role in Winters Bone, for which she was also nominated for an Oscar. They way she pulled off the fine line between greiving widow and complete lunatic was absolutely masterful. Throw in a couple of other minor, but still impressive performance by Robert Deniro (expected him to be great) and the unexpectedly great showing by Chris Tucker of all people and you have a near perfect film. Sadly, the Philadelphia Eagles were prominent throughout the film, so it cannot give it a perfect rating. It would be un-Redskinsfanlike for me to do so, wouldn't it? You can probably surmise by the length of what I just wrote that I am a huge fan of this film and will likely try to catch it one more time before it leaves theaters. 9.5/10 GO SEE THIS MOVIE. -

There are very few comedies that I consider "good" movies, this is not one of them. However, I thought it was fucking hilarious. -
...I spent less than $30 on a pair of new shoes. Which is a big deal for me, seeing as I HATE buying new shoes. Period.

Beasts of The Southern Wild. I loved it, though it was rather depressing. I completely see why the little girl in the movie has been nominated for an Oscar or was it Golden Globe? Whichever it was, she was fantastic in the movie. -

I am pretty sure this "leak" was intended by Sony to gauge interest from the community. Kind of like the "leak" of the boomerang controller for the PS3 before it was released. Not a bad marketing idea. -

So the government can't be funny? Their job is fucking stressful enough as it is, let them laugh it up a bit. There is no harm in that. -

I was right there with you unitl "...worst President of all time..." there have been far worse Presidents than Obama. You could maybe say the worst in your lifetime, but even that would be a stretch if you took an unbiased look backward to G.W. Bush. -

Same here. He cheated and got caught. I think that his treatment of those around him in his cover-up is what pisses me off more than anything. He is really a piece of shit, I hope to never hear his name in the workld of sports again. Fuck him. -

The Hunger Games. I decided to re-watch it last night and enjoyed it just as much as when I saw it in theaters. One of last years unexpected surprises, in my opinion. Not saying that it was the best film or the year or anything, but it was much better than I expected from a movie based on a young adult novel. -

Interesting theory, though I wonder if human genes would overrule the Neanderthal genes. It seems to me that the Neanderthal went extict for a reason and were replaced with a superior being. If they were as smart or smarter than human beings, why did humans survive and not the Neanderthal? -
It is possible to have contacts be more expensive than glasses. I was considering wearing "hard" contact lenses so my vision would be correctable to 20/20 as opposed to 20/45 with teh soft. I also have an astigmatism in my left eye, so I would have to be contacts that correct that. They were going to cost me $186 for a single PAIR. My glasses only ran me $128.
