Interesting take and a commonly debated topic among Spurs fans. The Spurs have completely changed their style to adapt to their aging roster - and many regard 2014 as the best Spurs championship squad. I still haven't made up my mind which is their best championship roster because of how differently built this 2014 one was. I lean towards 2014 but then I can't sweep away how damn unstoppable Timmy was in his prime. Mercy. Regarding the GOAT, it's Jordan without question for me. Think it's kind of ridiculous to try and vouch against him.

Wonder where Marion is going. Would be a very good signing for a contender.

Tim Duncan retiring from the NBA would not be great for NBA fans. One of the stupidest things I have heard, regardless of what fan it is from. He is still playing great ball at age 38. We need the world to continue to appreciate this form of dominance because it doesn't roll around very often. It is nearing the end for Timmy, but it sure as hell won't be a positive thing in any sense for the NBA community once he retires. :allhail: Timmy

Have mercy. So proud of the Spurs. That is one hell of a team that was assembled and coached by the great Coach Pop and the staff. Kawhi, Patty, Boris, Manu, Timmy all played incredible. The absolutely pummeled Miami. Picked them apart on offense and caused them troubles on defense. The best team in the league getting their deserved championship. 5 rings for Timmy!!!! "We'll do it this time..." Great PF of all time! Manu going super human in the closeout game - what a legend. Kawhi getting Finals MVP on father's day was a very powerful moment. Can't wait for him to be the face of the franchise for the next 10+ years. He's only 22 years old. Amazing. I LOVE THIS TEAM!!! GO SPURS GO!!!!!!!

This has been a hell of a run so far. From that gut-wrenching series vs the genius mind of Carlisle, to the Portland ass-kicking, and then an awesome series win over OKC capped off with Timmy takin' kids to school in overtime of game 6 in an extremely hostile environment. When he popped his jersey after that turnaround j to seal it, I was simply in awe of his greatness. I never know what to expect each game vs Miami. Really looking forward to game 5. Kawhi has become one of my all-time favorite Spurs in just 3 years on the squad. Absolutely love that guy. Hope that Timmy can get that 5th ring, because he damn well deserves it. Go Spurs Go!!!!!!!!!

The Spurs have had past playoff runs ruined due to injuries to the big 3. So while I don't necessarily feel bad for Thunder fans, I do understand their frustration. Still going to be a good series. It's far from over with Westbrook and Durant on the other end. Go Spurs Go! Kawhi playing great.

The sad state of the NBA. Brutal officiating.

Spurs are back to playing Spurs basketball. Tiago is playing the best ball of his career, Tony and Kawhi are healthy again and are playing great. Portland had the best track record against the Spurs over the past few seasons. Playoff match-ups are a completely different animal compared to regular season match-ups. Silly to put such an emphasis on a regular season series record. Everyone (including me) talked about the match-up nightmares for the Spurs vs Portland. Well, we all seemed to have swept aside the match-ups problems that the Spurs present for Portland. OKC still wins the series. Quite the meltdown, though. Eastern playoffs are just boring to me.

Tony Parker just dominated Lillard tonight. Great defensive performance. Best close-outs I have seen all season from the Spurs.

That WCF is the most overrated coaching series by Brooks. His adjustment was to put Sefolosha on Parker. Brilliant! Who would have thought of that? Couple that with Ibaka shooting out of his mind and Harden hitting huge shots and that's your series. That Chris Paul performance was incredible, and I am not even a huge fan of his. That series will be awesome, so excited to see how it unfolds.

Glad the Spurs played like they were capable of. Looked like they got their 'Spurs' mentality back. Tony is playing great right now, as is Manu despite that nightmare game 6. Best I have see Manu in years. Good news: They won't face a coach like Carlisle again. He did a hell of a coaching job. Brilliant basketball mind. Not so good news: Blazers prevent a hell of a match-up problem for the Spurs. Going to be interesting how Pop deals with it. They have a lineup that can play massive minutes and are a younger/more athletic Mavs. Should be a great series. As will the Clips/Thunder. Regarding Russ - he pretty much proved the point Bware and I were making earlier. He was much more controlled and possessive of his talents. When he is sharing it while staying aggressive, the Thunder are as good as there is in the league. CP3 and Russ will be awesome to watch. Who guards Durant? Matt Barnes? Expect Durant to go off this series.

Westbrook is shooting 0% in all the overtimes combined, with 1 total point. He's also shooting 18% from 3 and taking way too many shots and an extremely poor percentage. Durant is 7/14 in OT's, I believe. Come on. I agree to some extent Bware. WB is a hell of a player but he is definitely situational problem for them. Don't think they should think about trading him or anything of that nature, but something needs to change with him. I still think they have a good chance to win the series, but Brooks is having a absolute nightmare. MAny of my OKC fans are upset with how they rely on the 3 ball - specifically late in games.

Crawford has screwed numerous teams for years now. This is nothing new. He also likes to unleash hell on fellow staff members during games for some reason. This guy needs to be canned ASAP. Don't get why Durant was a ghost in the 4th quarter. He barely even touched the ball. Also, 31 points on 30 shots for WB? Nightmare.
