The United States of America would like to apologize to Japan for the current behavior of the young men in their country. All of the Hope Solo merchandise (posters, etc.) and absurd Google searches regarding her name will slowly dwindle as soccer fades out of the world spotlight. It's just a phase. Every young man in our country has gone through and made it out OK. Your youth will get through it, too.

It's laughable that so many department stores and businesses feel the need to be open for most of the day on holidays like Easter and Independence Day. Nobody should be forced away from their families on these days. You already have them possibly working every other day of the year. Give 'em a break. Not only can you not defend what you're doing, you can't honestly justify it.
