  1. Not really concerned about the Pats. Lots of new pieces on the team and will prob take 5-7 weeks for the team to start really gelling. People are quick to forget that three years ago the Pats looked like shit in week 1 in a 33-20 loss to Miami. And an inexperienced, mediocre Oakland team was on the verge of tying the game with under a minute left until Wilfork picked off a tipped pass inside the 10 in week 3, and they got the absolute shit beat out of them from start to finish the following week against KC. Ya'll don't remember that, though?

I'm going on vacation shortly. I'll send the money when I get back on September 8th, and I'll screenshot the Paypal confirmation. I operate on my time, not your time. Now shut the fuck up.

And Zack, I wear your loathing with pride, you fucking Nebraskan mutant.

  3. Paulie Malignaggi got his ass handed to him by Conor during sparring. Fucking pussy quit sparring sessions, too lol. Clown talked a big game like ''I could beat Conor with one hand tied behind my back... the camera man could even beat Conor up''.

Can't wait to see a weathered, aged, slow 40-year-old Floyd take that left from Conor in 2 weeks. Small frame, small cranium... Floyd's head will bounce off the canvas like a basketball.

  4. This fuckin guy is half black and was raised by white parents in nice suburban towns in Wisconsin and California. This whole phony BLM bullshit that he's doing is all for attention, and it's why teams don't want to deal with him. He's a gimmick QB, and a major attention whore. Fuck Colin Kaepernick, how's that sound?

  5. Any proud white man orders his steak medium rare. Actually had a ribeye steak with garlic butter for lunch at Morton's today. Flavor out of this world. They got the best steaks.

  6. Better than your team did.

    - Acquired Brandin Cooks for pick #32

    - Acquired Kony Ealy for pick #64

    - Acquired Dwayne Allen for #137

    - Surrendered #163 for signing Mike Gillislee

    - Traded away #175 for Barkevious Mingo, a key ST'er in NE's SB run last season

    - Traded away #215 for Kyle Van Noy, who was solid for LB depth and made an impact in SB 51

The four players the Pats drafted are pure gravy. Word is BB and Caserio spent most of the weekend playing beer pong in the war room.

  7. The Wild peaked in December/January. They played like utter dog shit down the stretch. St. Louis got hot going into the postseason, while Minny faded. You might not believe this Bware, but it's better to play your best hockey in spring time rather than around Christmas time.

  8. How retarded of you to just now notice that I am an Xavier fan. Ive said it multiple times in college bball threads, lol. I have three faves: NKU, XAV, and MSU

I get that, but I'm just saying it's cute how you put up a Xavier avi only after the fact they made it to the sweet 16. And having three favorite college basketball teams is really cute, too. :rog:

  9. So does Ben. So would Brees if he had better pieces. So would Rodgers if GB ever assembled a complete team, but they always seem to have a glaring weakness.

Tom Brady without the coaching continuity would not have the same resume.

You're a fucking idiot, Bware. Do you know what kind of pieces Brady had when he won his first three Super Bowls? Basically average players that HE made a lot better. Guys like David Patten and Deion Branch weren't fucking juggernauts. Not nearly on the same level as a Marques Colston or Brandin Cooks. And you're really gonna act like Rodgers has never had pieces around him? Lol.

Brady has five rings... Ben has two, and one came in SB XL where he was shitting himself the entire game and posted a 22.6 passer rating. Ben can't hold Brady's jock strap and Ben would probably admit it too.

And yes, coaching is the only reason for Brady's success just like the refs are always the reason that your teams lose.

  10. :Pats:

    Re-sign:

LB Dont'a Hightower: Biggest priority in FA. Worse comes to worst he should be franchise tagged.

LB Barkevious Mingo: Great ST player. Still think he has a lot of untapped potential on defense as well.

DE Chris Long: Solid player... 1-2 year deal sounds about right.

FS Duron Harmon: Keep him at the right price

FB James Develin: Best FB in the god damn game

RB LeGarrette Blount: only at a fair price and a 1-year deal... rather wouldn't see Pats break the bank for Blount.

DT Alan Branch: 1-year deal pls

CB Malcolm Butler (RFA): No-brainer to keep him.

SS Brandon King (exclusive rights FA): ST stud... keep him around.

    Let 'em walk:

CB Logan Ryan: Credit to him, he did play well at the end of the year and into the postseason, but I've seen more bad than good from Logan Ryan over his career. I'm sure several teams will be lining up to offer him a shit ton of money, and he probably won't pan out too well for whatever team he goes to.

DE Jabaal Sheard: Definitely enjoyed watching Sheard these past 2 seasons, but he's going to get bigger offers elsewhere. Not to mention Trey Flowers can step in right away.

TE Martellus Bennett: Black Unicorn is probably going to get a huge payday. Pats will try to find another solid veteran (Jared Cook?) at a cheaper rate to replace him.

    RB Brandon Bolden: meh

WR Michael Floyd: Just decent for depth is how I see Floyd. Some desperate ass team will pay him.

Signed a 4-year deal with Pats worth $43.5m with $19m guaranteed. :megusta: Extremely fair deal. Like I said a day or two ago, Pats were letting him visit other teams so they could just gauge a good price on him. There really wasn't much doubt that he was coming back.

Meanwhile, the wheels are in motion for Butler to move on since he isn't happy which is understandable. I'd rather not see the Pats go through another Logan Mankins situation, so let him sign elsewhere and get a 1st round pick back. Pats will continue to win with him or without him.

  11. I think my interest in football is whittling away.

I agree with this... and my favorite team has just won two SBs in three years. :rog:

Never mind the Pats, but I used to be obsessed with NFL football in general. For years I would go out to a sports bar every single Sunday to watch the games. And would never dare miss a Pats game either. Now I almost never go out on Sundays, and this past season I only watched a handful of Pats games in full. The NFL is sadly a dog shit product now.
