  1. Fucking hilarious to see how many of you pussies are in denial about TFB being the GOAT. The Brady isn't shit without Belichick/Belichick isn't shit without Brady narrative is so played out.

And for the ''Pats went 11-5 with Matt Cassel at the helm LOLZ!!!!'' crowd, did you idiots even actually watch a single game from 2008? The Pats had the fortune of having an extreme cupcake schedule that year. And the few good teams they did face, noodle arm Cassel and the Pats got taken to the shed... losing by 20 to San Diego and by 23 to Pittsburgh, for example. You think a year after going 16-0, a Brady-led Pats team is getting blown the fuck out by the Chargers? LOL.

I'd like to say Brady's two best seasons (never minding statistics) were in 2006 and 2013. In '06, Brady had BUMS (Reche Caldwell, Troy Brown's ancient ass, Ben Watson... are you fucking kidding me LOL!!!!) as receivers, a burnt out Corey Dillon, and an aging defense. The result? 12-4 season and on the door step of Super Bowl XLI... Pats had a 21-3 lead in AFCCG, but Colts offense gassed that aging defense out. But nah, let's discredit Brady, and say it was all because of Belichick.

In 2013, I really don't think I've ever seen a more type of true ''MVP'' type of season from Brady. I believe it was statistically one of his worst seasons, but it was incredible how many comebacks he led (for example beating Denver when Pats were down 24-0 at the half), and with how the lack of weapons he was surrounded by just like he was in 2006. Not to mention about half the fucking team was on injured reserve. Yet it was another 12-4 season with an AFCCG appearance. It was all Belichick, though.... and the kicking game. :yao:

Can't wait to see the .gifs and pics rolling out of the Pats ring ceremony in June...

  2. MVP: Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr.

    OPOY: Gronk

    DPOY: Jamie Collins

    OROY: Malcolm Mitchell

    DROY: Cyrus Jones

    CPOY: Dion Lewis

    Jamie Collins :mjtears:

    Gronk :welp:

Malcolm Mitchell had a really solid season actually and made some key plays in the SB, but would have to give OROY to Joe Thuney.

Not shocked that Cyrus Jones didn't really get defensive snaps due to the CB depth on the team, but he was a bit of a liability on special teams. I'm interested to see how he performs in the next preseason.

  3. :Pats:

    Re-sign:

LB Dont'a Hightower: Biggest priority in FA. Worse comes to worst he should be franchise tagged.

LB Barkevious Mingo: Great ST player. Still think he has a lot of untapped potential on defense as well.

DE Chris Long: Solid player... 1-2 year deal sounds about right.

FS Duron Harmon: Keep him at the right price

FB James Develin: Best FB in the god damn game

RB LeGarrette Blount: only at a fair price and a 1-year deal... rather wouldn't see Pats break the bank for Blount.

DT Alan Branch: 1-year deal pls

CB Malcolm Butler (RFA): No-brainer to keep him.

SS Brandon King (exclusive rights FA): ST stud... keep him around.

    Let 'em walk:

CB Logan Ryan: Credit to him, he did play well at the end of the year and into the postseason, but I've seen more bad than good from Logan Ryan over his career. I'm sure several teams will be lining up to offer him a shit ton of money, and he probably won't pan out too well for whatever team he goes to.

DE Jabaal Sheard: Definitely enjoyed watching Sheard these past 2 seasons, but he's going to get bigger offers elsewhere. Not to mention Trey Flowers can step in right away.

TE Martellus Bennett: Black Unicorn is probably going to get a huge payday. Pats will try to find another solid veteran (Jared Cook?) at a cheaper rate to replace him.

    RB Brandon Bolden: meh

WR Michael Floyd: Just decent for depth is how I see Floyd. Some desperate ass team will pay him.

  4. Re-watching the game and I have the reaction I thought I'd have.

    How

    How

HOW did the Falcons lose this game?????

It's still incomprehensible how the Falcons blew the game. Atlanta statistically had a 99.8% chance of winning with 21 minutes left. 99.8 percent. The game was OVER. No team has any business coming back from 25 down... in the Super Bowl... with a quarter and change left.

It was pretty disappointing when the Pats were getting shit on, but there wasn't really any need for me to lose my shit since A. Pats just won the SB 2 years ago, B. I don't mind Atlanta and they were going for their first SB, and C. I was thinking ''at least getting blown out is better than losing a heartbreaker''. Think I was in as much shock as Falcons fans were after the game. Legit didn't even know what to feel.

  5. Basing the outcome of a game on what a franchise did years ago is the epitome of lazy analysis.

I don't really give a shit... I've lost a ton of interest in watching the NFL... I can barely give analysis on the Pats. :yao:

  6. On paper, Atlanta should win this game. But the Falcons love finding a way to choke on their dicks in the postseason though (member their last NFCCG appearance when they blew a 17-0 lead to SF?) and it's tough to go against Rodgers when he's on a crazy roll.

    :Packers: 30

    :Falcons: 28

Been waiting for this matchup for months. Like, I've said awhile back, the only two teams worth a shit in the AFC are the Pats and Steelers. No other way around it.

Hopefully this game goes down to the wire. I haven't had actual nerves watching a Pats game since the AFCCG last year vs. Denver. I actually legit appreciated the AFCCG last season even though the Pats lost because it made me feel alive again as a sports fan lol

Where was I being emo? I was at a bar for the majority of the game lol. I had a good time too, especially watching the last drive, despite the end result. Don't get it twisted, it's disappointing not winning, but they're coming off a SB victory and there's a good chance they'll make a record setting 6th straight AFCCG next season. Tough to have much to complain about.

    Anyways...

    :Pats: 28

    :Steelers: 24

De-facto Super Bowl just like last year.

  8. How the fuck did Miami even get into the playoffs? What a joke.

Because they had the benefit of a cupcake schedule...

Look at who they beat this season...

    NY Jets x2

    Buffalo x2

    Cleveland

    Los Angeles

    San Fran

    San Diego

    Arizona

Pittsburgh (the yearly annual trap game for the Steelers)

if it wasn't for the AFC and the NFC West being a pathetic joke this year, they're about a 7-win team in reality...
