    Can't remember a SCF that went 6 games but felt so one-sided. Sharks looked mediocre multiple times this series. Pretty sure the Lightning would have knocked them around too.

     

    Anywho, congrats Penguins. I hate you, but this is a deserved title to be sure.

    The clear cut best team won it all. It was easy to tell from the beginning that the Pens were a different animal this postseason.

    Dana bringing Lesnar out of retirement for 200 is so fucking dumb and it's obvious desperation. Because he knows Jones-Cormier ain't even gonna do half the fucking numbers that McGregor-Diaz II would have, so he's gotta do something to recoup those losses (in terms of PPV buys).

     

    Bottom line, Conor McGregor is the company.

    And yeah, don't think SCF is really gonna turn out to be a great series. Have no clue why so many people were talking up the Sharks before the series. I legit heard people calling the Sharks a ''team of destiny'' lol. Yeah, they're a good team, but I don't think they're really that special. Pens are just on another level. Plus, they have multiple key players that have SCF experience. I think the Sharks are more in a happy to be there kind of spot.

    I'd say Malcolm Butler and Matthew Slater for the Pats. I think most people just look at Butler as the guy who had the GW interception in SB 49, but don't really know how good he is. And Slater is probably one of the best ST'ers the Pats have ever had. Guy has an extremely good work ethic and he's one of the best leaders on the team, as well. He is a 5x Pro Bowler and 3x First Team All Pro, but despite that, I don't think he's really too highly regarded outside of New England.

    The Patriots are also short Chandler Jones and I think not having a top flight pass rusher is going to cause them some serious problems. Like I know Brady has been saying he's gonna play into his mid 40's, but that's just not feasible. The offensive line has been an issue as well, and while they have a lot of talent at the skill positions, something is just screaming collapse to me. Browns may be optimistic, but as I went through the schedule it was like "Yeah they could win this game. This one too. Holy shit are they competing for the playoffs?" They've got the NFC East and AFC East for out of division games, so that may be a few extra wins on their side.

     

    The Colts have always been an overachieving 8-8 team, and last year was the first year where their play matched their win total. 4-12 might be a little low, but they've definitely got a hard schedule to deal with, facing the AFC West and NFC North. And I will guarantee the Panthers win less than 12 games next year.

    People have been saying this shit for YEARS now. Pats lost X players, AFC East rivals got stronger through draft and FA, Brady's getting older, this is the year they finally fall off, etc etc. Every fucking year lol.

     

    Pats win 12-13 games. Business as usual.

    I'm pretty much indifferent to the Pens. Matt Cooke doesn't play for them anymore so that made them a lot more bearable. Letang I hate the most actually... he's a huge pussy. Don't even really care about hating Crosby anymore.

     

    Much rather see the Pens win than Lightning. Last year's SCF was pretty forgettable with the Lightning.

    The Caps are simply not a postseason team. They don't embrace the pressure like other teams do. When they couldn't bury the Flyers in game 4 and got pushed to a game 6, it was very clear they didn't have it this year, as usual. The Caps have had two 120-pt seasons since 2010 and it's resulted in a one-and-done and a two-and-BBQ. Any way you cut it, that's beyond unacceptable. Caps are a sorry fucking excuse for a franchise.

    I never said that you stated the Pens were a joke. After the Caps advanced vs Philly, I was talking about how dangerous the Pens are this year and how they'd beat the shit outta the Caps, to which you mostly brushed off and said ''just because they dominated the Rangers blah blah blah''. Then I went on to elaborate how the Pens have been the hottest team in the league with how they ended the regular season AND carried into the 1st round. To which you also just pretty much brushed off. By me saying ''they're no joke'' meant they're a pretty fucking dangerous team. Understand a little better, you clown?

    Tried telling Thanatos that the Pens were no joke this year. :coffee: Guess you can tell now that I wasn't just saying that (that they'd bend the Caps over) because they just dominated the Rangers. They're a legitimately dangerous team.

     

    Down 3-1 in a series under the pressure of having a 120-point season and a string of multiple massive playoff failures in the past eight years. Doesn't look promising for the Caps.

    The fact that you equate winning votes to ability to be a good president is very telling. I don't hate trump because he's too intimidating or because he's a winner. It's because he's a racist buffoon who has no idea what he's talking about. Have you watched him actually talk? He changes his views so frequently and clearly is bsing his way through it. This election is an indictment on the republican voters. They're finally dropping any pretense of civility and just admitting that they're the party of bigotry.
