Where does it say, other than the thread title, that Dee fired his agent because of his draft position? The article hinted at it, but never explicitly stated it and never backed it up with anyone saying that's the reason. I'm waiting for Dee to be linked to looking into signing with Jay-Z's agency now. IMO, that's why these guys are doing it. Jay didn't announce the agency until after these guys all hired agents and now that they've ended up in NY, Jay-Z is trying to steal them away.

I don't know what makes you say this. Perk has never been the defensive stopper that everyone has talked him up to be. He bothered Dwight Howard and immediately earned this reputation and it doesn't hold up, especially after getting bullied by good big men night in and night out all season.

I was of the opinion that Perk was ass long before the Memphis series, I thought he sucked before the playoffs last season.

Continuing to play Sanchez over two QBs considerably worse than him in Tebow and McElroy isn't really a good example of Rex refusing to play anyone other than Sanchez. There's no doubt in my mind that Sanchez was significantly better than both of them last season and should have been the starter all along because nobody else could do a better job, no matter how bad it may have looked.

I still can't fathom the Harden trade, especially since they could have kept him by getting rid of the dead weight that is Kendrick Perkins. Don't trade Harden, wait until the end of the season to amnesty Perk, and keep your core of Westbrook, Harden, Durant, and Ibaka together for the next few years. None of those guys are even 25 yet, they haven't reached their primes. Doesn't matter who you surround those guys with, you're going to be legit contenders year in and year out.

First of all, importance to a team doesn't make someone better than another. Carmelo Anthony, who you left off the list, is more important to his team than just about every player you listed in your top 10. I don't know what could even cause you to believe that the Rockets would be worse off with Westbrook and the Thunder are better with Harden. The reason Harden wasn't able to do what he did this season in Houston isn't because he wasn't good enough to do that, it's because he wasn't good enough to outshine Durant or Westbrook. If Westbrook was the main guy on a team the way Harden was in Houston, who knows what kind of crazy numbers he could put up. Harden is terrible defensively, where Westbrook is significantly better than him. Harden has more range on his jumper and that's about it in terms of his advantages over Westbrook.

Marc Gasol, Kevin Love, James Harden, and Tim Duncan aren't better than Russell Westbrook.
