    Christian Ponder... if not only because I'm a Vikings' fan.

     

    He's definitely under pressure, if he doesn't show improvement this year, the Vikings are definitely going to be looking at QBs in the 2014 draft.

     

     

    Mark Sanchez definitely. People in NYC are gonna ask for Geno right after his first bad performance. incompletion.

    There have only been a few instances I have seen a woman get hit and think to myself,"I can't say I condone it, but you definitely had that one coming to you." I dont see this as being one of them.

     

    I had to go to anger management once for a few days before I just didnt go back, but I did learn if you just take the time to say you ABC's you can usually buy yourself enough time to calm down enough to know you need to leave. Even without the ABC's you should be able to recognize no matter how this goes it will not be in your favor. He should have known this and not hit his mothers child even if she was being a raging bitch (kind of what is sounds like).

    Of course there is: the truth. No one would rip him any more than they already do if he said, "Obviously it's a little disappointing. I want to remain the starter. No one wants to lose their job, but it is what it is. I'm just gonna bust my ass and do everything I can do prove that I'm the best man for the job."

    Your average woman is like 130 lbs and 5'3" with a lot less muscle mass than a man. Just because women want equal rights , doesn't mean that they should have to go toe to toe with a man physically.

     

    They want to be treated equally, why should it only be when it's convenient?

    Women are still, for the most part, extremely inferior to men on a physical level. Even if they were physically equal to men, would it still be alright to, for example, viciously assault your best friend because he whooped your ass at Call of Duty?

     

    Think about what you're saying. She did nothing to deserve being attacked like that.

     

    If you can't recognize the difference between your friend, who is someone you actually like and get along with, beating you at a video game and your ex-girlfriend/baby mama, someone you extremely dislike, more than likely being incredibly verbally abusive and even likely slightly physically abusive towards you, I don't think you really get it.

    I'm so tired of QBs lying through their teeth. Does anyone really believe that Sanchez is "thrilled" that he has to fight for his job with 4 other guys? Does he want us to believe that the fact that his team picks up 4 other guys who they hope will be better than him due to their lack of faith in their bust QB excites him? :gtfo:

     

    I'm sure the first thing he did after they drafted Geno Smith was call his family and say, "MOM, DAD, DID YOU HERE THE WONDERFUL NEWS?! THE JETS DRAFTED A QB TO COME TAKE MY JOB!! OH BOY, OH BOY, OH GOODIE!! I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO TAKE ON THE POSSIBILITY OF LOSING MY 7 FIGURE PAYING JOB!!!

    Please. None of these guys really want to be so highly doubted that their apparent replacement is brought in to take over because they can't cut it. I'm sure Alex Smith was "thrilled" about competition with Kaepernick, too.

     

    Yeah, he should tell the media that he's sad they brought another guy in, so they can all call him a baby who wants his job handed to him without having to earn it.

     

    There is no good, truthful answer that he won't get ripped for.

    So you would openly abuse your wife or girlfriend?

     

    I see no scenario where a man should hit another woman, unless she is about to kill you.

     

    I would never be put in a situation where it's necessary to do so considering I would be smart enough to never enter a relationship with someone like that.

     

    I don't see why men shouldn't see women as equal to men since that's what they consider themselves, when its convenient for them anyway

    I'm really pull for the Thunder this year, but I can't see it happening. With Westbrook out, the Heat seem to have a clear path to a 2nd straight ring. Maybe Rose can get his "muscle memory" back and the Bulls can make some noise.

     

    Bulls have no shot even if Rose comes back and is playing like he did in his MVP* season.

    People are wrong. They didn't want it to be true or didn't think it was true. They could have gotten misinformation somewhere. I bought into it slightly when it originally came out, but didn't think it was as bad as the media was making it sound.

     

    After recent events... Looks like it was just as bad as he made it sound.

     

    Geno still has time to mature, he still has time to sit on the bench.. For his sake, hopefully he gets that bench time. Hopefully he gets that time to mature and learn from more respectful people in life and in the game of football.

     

    Because if he doesn't he is in trouble.

     

    I doubt that they've gotten new information on stuff that happened months ago to change their mind.

     

     

    He was drafted by the Jets so I'm guessing that's the only reason you're defending him. I do know that his QB coach at WVU said he was a standup guy and was a very hard worker. I will take his word over a writer.

     

    There a executives from NFL teams that met with Geno Smith and avoided him due to his demeanor in their meeting with him, that to me is a concern. The way he acted at the draft is a concern. The way he's handled himself since being drafted is a concern.

     

    I have nothing against him and would like to see him succeed. If he's a douche, maybe he can change. I think that with the pressure of trying to compete for a QB job in the biggest sports market in the world, he's going to buckle.

     

    I'm defending him because I like Geno and have been a fan of his since long before he was a Jet. Me defending him has nothing to do with his NFL team.

     

     

    I would agree with Natas almost 100%. Except for the fact that I would expect his QB coach to talk him up. As far as everyone else, apparently they knew a whole lot less than Nolan Nawrocki did.

     

    Right on Cam. Right on Geno. Yet, he's a racist. How dare he!

     

    He wasn't really right about Cam at all to be honest.

     

    I don't think he's a racist either, just an attention seeker.

    I really don't get why the Jets haven't brought Brandon Moore back, it's obvious that no one is going to pay him the money he was looking for. Unless he's holding out to join a contender, there's no reason not to try and bring him back.

     

    I wish we signed Ahmad Bradshaw instead of trading for Chris Ivory too.

    Now there is a lot of writings coming to Nolan's defense and writing stories to corroborate his take. Here is one from EPSN calling Geno an spoiled brat and one from PFT:

     

    It's kind of hard to believe the media when the same people who were saying that Nawrocki was spewing a bunch of bullshit for slamming Geno are now slamming Geno.

    As long as Westbrook was healthy, Martin was very good in the 6th man role. Can't predict injuries.

     

    But James Harden is so much better than Kevin Martin and his skill-set is much more ideal for a 6th man than being just a spot-up shooter.
