    Holy shit. Iceland pulled off a 1-1 draw vs. Argentina. Crazy.

    LOL Germany loses to Mexico 1-0 and Brazil is held to a draw! A lot of the top teams are struggling early.

    holy shit, that happened, one of my good friends came up for the game last night, which is why I'm just now getting on here, I've watched a lot of games with him and there's nobody I'd rather share that moment with, that was fucking awesome, I'm glad it was a tight, entertaining game to close it out, the 6-2 game 4 was awesome, but to close it out in tight fashion was awesome and showcased the resilience of this team, gave up the lead in the second period? don't care, and everyone chipping in, loved Eller's GWG, I can't say enough about how fucking awesome this is, this is the team that did it, year 3 of a 2 year plan and we just did it, it's gonna take a lot of self control to not wear a Caps t-shirt to court today

     

    Just wear it underneath the work clothes. :p

     

    This Caps team deserves it for sure. They really came together after last season's disappointment.

     

    Love the end of Ovi's interview :laugh: Also loved how excited he was when he went to get the Cup and when he lifted it. :) Always makes me smile seeing that.

    That is some lame logic... This is a sport.. It comes down to the players. Even with all the mistakes. Cavs had it in the bag with the ability to wind down the clock and get the exact shot they wanted. They were awful and choked it away -- terrible refs or not.

    I'm sure Durant had nothing to do with Houston going 7-44 on 3s. Harden and Gordon alone went a combined 4-25. Oh and not to mention the Rockets missed 27 3s in a row.

    I'm glad Nashville forced game 7, may give us some extra rest before we play the Lightning

    Actually oochy, the Caps would have started the ECF on May 11 regardless of the result of the Preds-Jets series. That was when it was scheduled to start. :)

    Holy shit, Burky's been out since game 2 of round 1, we won 2 of 3 without Wilson, and tonight Backy was out, that's half our top six and we still fucking did it, it'll take a while to funny sink in that we bounced Shitsburgh but that was awesome

    Enjoy this Oochy. Caps definitely earned this win. :)

    but I think this is Toronto's year.

    They keep playing like they did last night it's a good possibility. That said, it's only round 1. I'll wait until round 2 before making any predictions.

     

    Pelicans are THE big surprise. I never expected a 2-0 lead from them over Portland.

    Two games into the series I figured the Avs were toast. However Nashville has been sluggish lately. 9 goals allowed the past two games. It wouldn't surprise me if Colorado ties the series up tonight.

     

    Flyers-Pens: Can we please have a close, exciting game for a change?

     

    Sharks can end the Ducks season tonight.

     

    And do the Bolts rebound? Or do we see at least 6 games there?

    It's a cross check to the side of the head. They can't not call that. There's no reason or justification for letting it go.

    Boston has been getting away with slew-footing players and cross checks as well. This isn't anything new sadly. It's been going on in the playoffs for years.

     

    There will likely be a suspension for the hit though.
