  1. Welcome to the Nike redesign, gentlemen. Yes, it looks like they're trying to copy Seattle's (and Jacksonville, to a lesser extent) because they the three teams fully designed by Nike. Personally, I prefer the homes to the roads, but as previously stated, the numbers need to be changed. I think if the shoulders weren't two toned, and the little stripe was there, they'd look a lot better.

  2. Because it's the off-season, I've decided to re-design/refresh all 32 teams' jerseys.

Rules that I will probably end up breaking:

    1) I will not modify the logo unless it's very brief. (ie. colour change)

    2) I will not drastically change teams with a deep history in the league.

    3) I will re-do some teams after hearing what you guys have to say.

    To start, the Arizona Cardinals...

:Cardinals: (click the emoticon for the design)

  3. lol Jim Irsay and the Colts... Let Peyton walk only to get a worse version of Manning to replace him.

You are aware Andrew Luck is 24 years old, correct?

In his first two seasons, Andrew Luck has thrown the ball a total of 1,197 times, completing 57% of his passes, for 8,196 yards, and 46 touchdowns. Andrew has also turned the ball over a total of 31 times, with 27 interceptions and losing 7 fumbles (16 total, on 125 attempts). He's made the playoffs twice, leading the team that went 2-14 the year before he was drafted to a combined 22-10 record. He's won a playoff game, something Peyton never did in his first two seasons. This post-season, by the way, with the rushing offense that was second last only to the Philadelphia Eagles, he lead the Colts to the number two offense in football, averaging 461 yards per game, and scoring 33.5 points per game (3rd, only to the two teams he played; Kansas City and New England)

In Peyton Manning's first two seasons, he attempted 1,108 times, completing 59.4% of his passes, for 7,874 yards and 51 touchdowns. Peyton turned the ball over 43 times with his arm alone, and fumbled 9 times total (on 50 attempts- cannot find how many he lost.). Over the first two seasons, the Colts finished with a combined record of 16-16, and lost their only playoff game.

Comparing this season to lasts, Luck completed 4 more passes on 57 less attemps than last year, and averaged .3 yards less per completion than last year (directly a result of Pep Hamilton vs. Bruce Arians, if you don't believe me, watch tape.) Luck also had the same amount of touchdowns (23) and half the interceptions (9 vs 18) in comparison to his previous campaign. He took fewer sacks for fewer yards lost on average, and improved his quarterback rating by 10.5 points. He rushed one more time this year in comparison to last for 122 more yards, and had one less touchdown however limited his fumbling from 10 total/5 lost to 6 total/2 lost.

So, what do I take from this? Luck is on pace to be pretty damn close, if not better than Peyton. Sure, nothing is certain, and Peyton had a better completion percentage, and more touchdowns, but I truly do believe Luck has the intangiable and physical attributes that will make him successful in the NFL. Luck has done a lot with a little, where as Peyton had some guys by the names of Marshall Faulk, Edgerin James, and Marvin Harrison around him in his first two seasons. Avoiding going too deep into things, however, I think that both of them are incredibly talented, and Peyton will go down as one of the best ever, with Luck, if he keeps improving, and baring injury, will be right beside him.

  4.

LaVon Brazill and Da'Rick Rogers, thank you for stepping up in place of Reggie Wayne. They were the two big bright spots

How do you think I felt watching us miss 6 tackles on one guy. :yep:

You may have thought he was the second coming of Jesus Christ himself, or he rolled around in baby oil as soon as he caught it.

  5. This game was infuriating to watch. Firstly, that "touchdown" was one of the worst calls I've seen in ten years of watching football. I'm not blaming the refs, however.

The Colts' secondary fucking sucks. Not just a little bad. Absolutely fucking brutal. Every passing touchdown was a guy beat in man. Seriously. Look at the tape. Vontae Davis has gone from a reliable corner to an absolute joke. Darius Butler has gone from bad to worse. Look at AJ Green's touchdown and please tell me what he was trying to do. Hug his legs and hold on, and hope he doesn't catch it? Laron Landry looks slow from the safety position in help. The touchdown in the third quarter was a prime example.

DHB is the worst wide receiver in the NFL. The man has pizza paddles for hands. I can't think of any player, ever, with more God-given ability at the position, with no hands. Just upsetting and a waste of talent.

LaVon Brazill and Da'Rick Rogers, thank you for stepping up in place of Reggie Wayne. They were the two big bright spots. Andrew Luck was also pretty good. 300+ and 4 TDs are usually winning numbers. And he was their leading rusher. Seriously. He had more yards on one rush than Donald Brown and Trent Richardson had all day (individually). Trent Richardson has been a lost puppy in the offense. The offensive line isn't doing their job, but it is truly upsetting to see his talent being wasted.

Just a bad game. I'm losing hope and thinking that it might be a classic Colts one-and-done.

  6. This summer:

    •
    • Got a job.
    • Found myself a girlfriend.
    • Lost 10 pounds.
    • Redistributed my weight such that I have much less of a gut, and look bigger/more toned.

And I start my senior year of high school September 3rd.

  7. To be completely honest, I wouldn't be surprised if 50, 60, 75% of the NFL is currently, or has used PEDs, whether it be in the pros, college, or high school, especially the newer guys. It's the biggest sport in North America, where there is next to no PED testing. It's a growing trend. Shit, I play varsity high school football in Canada and there's at least 5 kids that are/were on my team that have used PEDs/HGH. You're telling me in a higher pressure situation, like AP, where he grew up with a convict father, and had to make it in football, guys wouldn't do it? Please.

October 8th: J. Cole and Wale.

  9. FOXBOROUGH, MA – Backup Patriots QB Tim Tebow was shocked today to discover that, contrary to what he’d believed for the first 26 years of his life, he is actually a right-handed passer, and immediately dazzled his coaches and teammates by going 26-28 for 379 yards and 6 TDs in practice after switching to his correctly dominant hand.

“Wow, this is WAY easier” said Tebow, after completing his final pass of the morning scrimmage, a perfectly thrown 30-yard dart that he zipped easily through triple coverage and into WR Danny Amendola’s hands. “I should’ve been doing this all along!”

“Well, that’s it for me. I’m expecting Tim to pass me on the depth chart within the next day or two,” admitted starter-for-now Tom Brady. “I mean, the guy was unstoppable out there. It didn’t matter if he was passing short, medium, long, inside, outside, whatever. Once he switched to that right hand, everything he threw was rocket fast, and laser accurate.”

Added Brady: “I’ve had a nice run with the Pats, but I think it’s safe to say the Tim Tebow era has officially begun.”

Tebow, meanwhile, was excited about the new range of possibilities open to him thanks to his self-discovery.

“For years now, I’ve been jealous of other QBs like Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees, who make throwing a football look so easy. To me, it always felt like a really clumsy, awkward motion,” said the chipper QB. “But heck, now that I’m using Mr. Right Hand here, that ball just zips right out of there, like it’s the most natural thing in the world. Gosh, I can’t wait for the season to start. Look out, single-season passing records!”

And for all of those that say pics or fake...

It's obviously a joke, but I laughed so hard.
