The Falcon's wont pick a corner in the first round.
-
No, if Green is there at 6 we take him.
No questions asked.
Yall should, but theres always a possibility of trading down.
-
If AJ Green is still on the board at 6 and im Cleveland, i'm calling everyone that has a need for a #1 or #2 receiver. I would easily trade a 2nd+3rd round pick for the 6th overall pick, especially if you have 2 2nds.
-
NFL play lenght could increase to 7 seconds\play if Mallet goes there and tries to do the roll outs.
-
I'm sure he can lead the AFL in 200 yard games.
-
Why Brooks Reed over Houston for the Saints?
-
If Mettenberger doesn't win the job, LSU won't win the title. THey can't win the national championship with jefferson, and that's saying something.
-
I could list 10 receivers I would take over him, and one punt returner I would take over him.
Idiot............

The lions should trade down if they wan tan OT. There isn't a tackle worth taking there, and I don't like Constonzo. Look at the tape of him vs Robert Quinn.

I disagree, in my opinion their 3 biggest needs are( in order)
1)OLB( With Miller gone and Smith gone, I don't see them addressing this position here.)
2)Defensive Back( Unless Prince falls, or someone raises their draft stock, I don't see them addressing this either.)
3) Wide Receiver( I don't have a lot of faith in Nate Burleson, and after him there is nobody on the Lions roster worth starting.) Like I stated earlier, this may be kinda a reach, this is the best talent on the board at 13 also.
I do not see any DE worth picks here, and went with talent by biggest need.
Your saying WR is a bigger need than OT? And DE is a big need also. I think they may go WR in the second (Baldwin, Torrey Smith) The only way I see them picking WR is if AJ Green falls here.
-
Jon Gruden also isn't coaching anymore.
-
I can see it happening. They want to be established around the running game, and Ahmad Bradshaw can't be expected to get 250-300 carries this year. Jacobs is old, and just plain not good at this point. They need a primary back, and Ingram is basically Jacobs with a bit more agility.
-
After Johnson and Burleson it gets extremely bare, and I know this may be a bit of a reach for the Lions, I think he fits the mold well as a third and eventually a second receiver. He either goes here or to the Rams, which is the next pick.
He could play some DT, but be undersized. I think he will fit in well, he is 6'5 305, which I know isn't ideal size, but this is just gut feeling. It is either him or Corey Liuget here(guy from Illinois.) I like them both with Tampa.
I don't think Tampa drafts defensive tackle here, no matter what. Spent the 3rd overall pick last year on McCoy, and they have alot bigger needs.
With Cam JOrdan and Ryan Kerrigan still on the board, the Lions won't stretch and get Jones. WR is nowhere close to their biggest need (Corner, Defensive End, OT are the 3 biggest)
-
Jones going 6th? At the very least the Browns would trade down a couple picks if they actually wanted him.
Can't really trade down far. Jones won't fall past 10. Plus, if you were to trade down, it'd have to be 7,8 or 9. The only team that would want to trade is maybe the Cowboys to get PP7, but I think offensive line is still their biggest need, and Romo is their star player and they have to protect him.
-
Explain the Lions.
And Wilkerson is 4-3 DT, 3-4 DE, so he wouldn't fit with Tampa, atleast not as a defensive tackle. Explain that one too
-
My comments:
-Bucs pick looks good. I don't know if he will fall that far, but with his injury concerns it's definately possible.
-I don't think the Lions will go with Jordan. Their pass rush was very solid last year and should only get better as Suh develops. I think they are going to focus on protecting Stafford and take an OT with their 1st pick.
-If Ayers is still there at #28 like you have it, I think the Patriots will take him. They reportedly like him and I think it would be a very good fit.
-I don't think Aaron Williams will go in the 1st over Jimmy Smith.
Solid mock overall.
2. There's not an OT good enough to go there, so the only way the Lions pick one is if they trade down. I personally don't like any OT in the first round this draft, but theres gotta be some picked. And you can't rely on just Suh to rush the passer. That defensive line would be elite.
3. I don't think they pick Ayers at 28, because they're losin their two best offensive linemen, and they need to protect Brady. That offensive line is the only reason they ahve any kind of run game.
4. I put Williams there because he's versatile, he can kick in at safety if he fails at corner and can replace Ryan Clark.

I like who you gave the lions... But I highly doubt we let Bowers slip past us...
Bowers' stock is dropping - alot. Knee problems ,he has arthritis, lots of bad tape, inconsistent, doesn't play every down. More bad than good for him this offseason.
-
I don't see Jones as a top 10 WR. I would much rather take pp7 and take a chance on Baldwin from Pittsburgh in round two.
No point in taking a corner, the Browns just took Haden last year. And Jones has the talent to be a top 10 pick. If Green wasn't in this draft, he'd be going to the Bengals at 4.

Can you explain why you have Jones going six?
The Browns desperately need help at wide receiver. Some people have Jones going higher than Green, and he's not a bad player. He's definitely a Top 10 receiver, and it fills Cleveland's biggest need.

Won't pick a defensive tackle in the first round (Falcons). We've got 3 young, good defensive tackles. Its one of our best spots. if Houston is still on the board, we're taking him.
-
if Houston is on the board, the falcons are taking him. Bank it. And we're not taking a corner in the first round, we have Grimes and Robinson. The corner would be a nickel at best, and its not our biggest need.
-
The Falcons won't pick Williams, especially if Cam Jordan is still there. And Jordan wont fall that far.

Panthers have found themselves a OC.

How in the hell do you have a 900 page playbook for just offense?
