What's the point of a record book in general? It's only used as a source for the press and the fans, but we will always still remember that Joe Paterno was a great head coach HEAD-COACING wise, there's no argument there. But the way I see it is that Paterno can only be penalized by vacating his wins cause he isn't here anymore. Vacating wins does nothing but kinda hurt the people involved in them, if they care about their records. But the blame should go all on JUST the football program, not the dang university here. What happened in the past happened in the past, you can't stop it in the future of recruiting. PSU deamed their program "clean", which is what damaged their football team the most. We can only blame the people involved and that is the athletic department for failure to do anything. You think people would really believe people that are OUTSIDE of the athletic department?

At the end of the day, what is the point of vacating Paterno's wins? PSU fans will still remember for generations to come that he has led the program to so many wins. It's nothing you can't stop. Getting rid of wins does nothing IMO. Yeah, this one says you did something very wrong outside of the program, but will the fans really care what Sandusky did in 100 years when he's dead and gone? People will get over this with time. Especially when Penn State will finally move on 10 years after these sanctions.

The Divide is a fucking crazy horror movie. I'm sure most of you never heard of it (it was released in only 7 theaters), but just wow. Really weird combination of sci-fi and horror, and really messed up as well.

LOL really? I'm a Jags fan and admit we have really set ourselves up for failure this upcoming season. Our draft was around getting Gabbert a weapon, drafting a punter, and beefing up a defense which hadn't really needed to. Our problem last year was the o-line. We haven't fixed that at all. I wouldn't be surprised if we started tanking for Barkley.
