Geno Skips Sanchez's Jets Offensive Chemistry Camp

Yeah, apparently he's staying in Florida so he can work on what the coaches told him he needs to. But personally I couldnt really care if he went or not. Though he is being criticized now for not going, but if he went, hell there would just have been a controversy about him subjecting to Sanchez. So as long as Geno is working at trying to get better, I dont care where he does it. He should go where he is most comfortable.

    Bills franchise Byrd

Ridiculous....I think its one thing to not value the position of safety highly in Pettine’s defense. I personally dont think that makes a lot of sense. But, even if they dont value the position, they should value the PLAYER! Byrd is a playmaker, plain and simple. And he’s in the prime of his career. And not only did he make plays consistently, he made them on an AWFUL defense. Think about what he can do in a good defense. I mean if they don’t value that position, then why pay $7 million this season to franchise him? Why not trade him? This seems so simple to me. Pay the man the Weddle-type contract. He deserves it and the fans deserve to have a very good player back in the fold. You cant build a Championship team when you continue to let good players leave in the prime of their careers. I can understand not overpaying for Levitre, but paying Byrd $8 million/year is not overpaying him. He’ll provide great value for that contract. IMHO...the major problem here is a complete and total lack of foresight from the front office. They wait until the end of the contract year to extend these guys. Byrd and Levitre should have been approached last year about signing long term extensions instead of letting their contracts run out.

Bernard Pierce to push Rice for carries

Rice and Pierce would make one hell of a one-two punch! But I dont see the Ravens taking away from Rice's role all that much. Rice would still be the feature back, as Pierce would act as more of a change-of-pace type back. But, it is good to see the Ravens accepting the reality of RB's that log in a lot of miles. I think its smart to protect Rice from injury, and keep him fresh for later in the season.

Just disregard the title, cause some of these vicious hits go back several years, not just last year.

    Patriots debut new logo

Meh, bland if you ask me...Personally I liked the older one with the Patriot dude hiking the football. I thought that was pretty killer and still like that the best. Old Skool baby!

    Hall of Fame Snubs

Charles Haley Haley won five Super Bowls in eight years playing for the 49ers and Cowboys, and is one of the most feared pass rushers in the NFL. He was an absolute monster in the pass rush and as good as anybody at what he did. I think his leadership and success alone qualifies him for enshrinement in Canton. I know his snubbing had a lot to do with his unconventional behavior during his playing days, which has not helped his candidacy. But still his accomplishments are second to none. If there’s any defensive player that deserves to be in the HOF...It's Charles Haley. In his 13 NFL seasons: 100.5 Sacks 485 Tackles 2 INTs 26 Forced Fumbles..8 fumble recoveries, which he returned for nine yards and a TD 5x Pro Bowler (1988, 1990, 1991, 1994, 1995) 2x All-Pro (1990, 1994) 5x Super Bowl Champion (XXIII, XXIV, XXVII, XXVIII, XXX) Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor Also...College Football Hall of Fame Inductee (2011)

Should Donovan McNabb make the Hall of Fame?

Hall of Fame...No. I dont see it happening. But it makes sense for him to retire as a member of the Eagles. After all, it's where he had all of his NFL success. He holds the franchise records for... completions, passing yards and touchdown passes. Led the Eagles to five NFC Championship games and an appearance in Super Bowl XXXIX. Not too bad for a player who was booed after the Eagles selected him with the second overall pick in the '99 draft.
  15. OR....Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor! Even though they were together for a short time '07-'09. They were, in every sense of the word, the best one-two tandem in the NFL through those years.
  16. You can also make a case for Jamal Lewis and Chester Taylor, those two made some pair as well.

    Michael Strahan or Simeon Rice

Strahan played 14 years..(1993-2007)not sure where you got 15 from. And your still missing some more stats where Strahan topped Rice...But regardless I stand pat with what I said. And we both have our opinions, so lets just agree to Disagree. Its Obvious.. were not going to see eye to eye on this, so on to the next.
  19. NaTaS...how about Jim Brown and Ernie Green? Brown 6-2 230lb, Green 6-2 205lb. Two big backs..Green was a really good runner and receiver, a superb blocker and opened up a lot of holes for Brown! And Brown, Jeez..he just bulldozed his way through defenses, hell opposing defenses were getting injured just trying to tackle this guy. You either gang tackle him or else your not bringing him down...
