This isnt saying much since we were ranked 30th last season in offense, but the addition of new OC Marty Mornhinweg, RB Chris Ivory and the potential of QB Geno Smith, makes the case that we should be at least better than last year. Defense will be decent. I'm a believer in the Jets defense, they won’t be great but they should be near the neighborhood of good. Rex Ryan is committed to getting the defense back to where they were a couple seasons ago. And Dee Milliner, Sheldon Richardson both have an immediate impact on the defense this season.

Getting the ball into Spillers hands 30 times... is different than handing off to him 30 times. And he will be very effective in the Bills passing game this year. But I dont see him getting more than 20-25 carries a game. Esp with Freddy Jax behind him.

I really can’t see us dropping someone from a skill position. Being the level of talent is so low overall and so unproven that even the bottom of the roster wide out has some value.

Holmes was always a “me-first” guy! IMO.. (Jets fans haven’t forgotten Miami). He would be cut already if he didn’t have the guaranteed money. Anyways, this makes me miss Jerricho Cotchery.

This is a great pick-up for the Cards. And the thing I like about Winston is that he isn’t injury prone, has played nearly every game since entering the league...he'll provide some needed stability on that o-line.

I agree...Not only the most competitive, but also for the fact you mentioned, all four teams could end up with .500 or better records! All four teams have made improvements that are expected to improve their win totals. Now Im not saying they'll be great, but I am saying that they will be better. I could see the last place team finishing 8-8.
