Aaron Hernandez Found Guilty of 1st Degree Murder
East495 replied to BLUE's topic in General NFL Talk
LMAO!! Read this comment on PFT, had me rolling...If Hernandez is in prison Week 1, will Belichick still list him as “questionable”? But boy that Tebow signing is looking better and better! -
WOW!! Just another example of the NFL capitalizing on the fans again...
-
Pfft...well good 4 you dude! Like I care what you think..lol. Not saying I like the guy, but I wish no ill will towards anyone. Esp..if it means the guys career.

Battlefield Earth...Travolta's worst ever! Based on that scientology BS! Son of the Mask...pure garbage The Blair Witch Project...utter stupidity, walked out 30 min into it. I'm ashamed to say I even went! Skyline Catwoman...yep with Halle Berry. The Happening Lady in the Water Jack and Jill..unusual for Adam Sandler, cuz I like most of his movies Cloverfield Suckerpunch Terminator: Salvation I'll probably catch flak for this but...The Harry Potter series.. ALL OF THEM! Barely made it thru the 1st one, and they made how many of these? -
A bit surprised by this move! Willis did a nice job while in Denver, and he definitely gave them well more than $2.5 million worth of effort. IMO!

Man does Gronk have problems or what? 3 arm surgeries, now it’s his back? Wow! According to multiple reports,Gronkowski will undergo back surgery this coming Tuesday. I heard the surgery is minor, and that the recovery process won’t extend the timetable already created by forearm procedures. I wish him the best though!

Yep! Winslow is a Jet. Ironic though that he's willing to sign for the vet minimum after apparently being let go by Seattle last preseason because he wouldn’t take less than the contract that came with him in the trade from the Bucs. Hmm..I guess once you got none of those big checks coming your way, a bit less can look pretty damn good. But considering our TE situation, I do not mind this move one bit. Just hope he stays healthy!

If you could add anyone, which one player from another team would you add?

Adrian Peterson! -
Man, that says a lot when you can't beat out Kevin Kolb. I think the problem with T-Jax is he has all the tools to be good except, he cannot read defenses! The Bills should start Emanuel IMO!
-
A try out for the soldier..lol. Well I hope he’s humble and doesn’t act like a jack ass for us, if he shows he can’t tone it down this might be his last tryout for an NFL team. But he is a low risk signing, probably the vet minimum, and if healthy he is an upgrade over what we have. Cuz personally I'm not happy with our TE situation. Also Mike Sims-Walker and defensive lineman Leger Douzable have been invited to try out as well.

LoL..oh lawd! Leave it to Belichick to make an out-of-the-box move. He’s going to get something out of Tebow. Watch and see!

Always liked Billy Squire, had some really good tunes, The Stroke,In The Dark,My Kinda Lover,Everybody Wants You...etc. Plus I grew up in that era, so.. some might think its cheezy, but those songs bring back some great memories.

Well, the New York Jets...where do I start! For one are always at the center of the media's attention, but after an intriguing draft class, the team is at the forefront of the NFL landscape. Fans and experts alike have weighed in on the Jets' draft, and the difference in opinions is pretty astounding. Some believe that the Jets have improved significantly and are moving closer to contention..while others think that John Idzik and company have added to the franchise's dysfunction. Now here's my take. I personally believe the Jets got terrific value for Dee Milliner, and he should be a solid player in Rex Ryan's defense from the get-go. Besides he's got some pretty big shoes to fill with the departure of Darrelle Revis. I do think he'll step up for this challenge. Now unlike other NFL analysts, I think that drafting Sheldon Richardson was a big mistake IMO. Star Lotulelei and Sharrif Floyd were both still on the board, and both possess more complete games than Richardson does. Richardson has proclaimed to be the best PASS-RUSHING DT in this draft but we'll see about him. I do love the selection of Geno Smith in the second round, again I feel the Jets got terrific value for the draft's best quarterback. While Smith has weaknesses he needs to mend, but he provides the Jets with stability at the most important position on the field. Brian Winters was a solid third-round pick who is capable of starting at guard in his first season, and Oday Aboushi could definitely take the pressure off Austin Howard at right tackle. I also love the trade to get Chris Ivory from the Saints, and is basically a draft pick in itself. Very good move here. Ivory provides the Jets with a powerful and ferocious runner, and he should form a solid running combination with Bilal Powell. But the biggest downside of the Jets draft IMO, was the franchise's inability to draft a safety or outside linebacker, two of the team's biggest needs. It could be because we have a load of picks next year and we can probably get better talent with those picks. Overall I can't complain about the Jets draft...it could have been a bit better. However we still had a solid draft class, and we should be an improved team next season as a result! But Im excited for the future because there is a direction here. GO Jets! Next topic:

It does, but like you said...its part of the bizz! It is what it is!

I agree with you dutch 100%. It was a wasted trade IMO. Im not a Tebowmaniac, but I do feel the guy deserved better. I mean who else have you ever really seen have success like Tebow did in Denver, and not get a chance to succeed in his following season. Cassell did wonders for the Pats when Brady went down in '08 and was rewarded with a 1 year contract worth over $14 million, the largest 1 year contract for an offensive player in NFL history. lol. Then later the following offseason he was traded to KC, where he failed big time. But.. at least he got the chance to fail on his own instead of being FORCED to fail, like Tebow was. Timmy got shafted by both Denver and the Jets.

ESPN edits alleged Skip Bayless fart out of First Take re-air
East495 replied to NaTaS's topic in The Sideline
LOL...armpit fart! -
So what does that video prove? Nothing! lol. Hasnt Rex admited he did not work with him enough! He barely saw the field and totaled what..40 touches last year, and thats between passing/rushing. Rex NEVER gave him a chance. So its not Tebow’s fault, he got shafted right?
-
Dee Milliner....this is the guy thats going to replace Revis! Thats some mighty big shoes to fill.
-
Ray Lewis...Hands Down! Leader, Mentor, Machine, and Over achiever. Nobody did it better or longer!

I love you Mary Jane!
