IMO..The best MLBer of his generation! Basically the new prototype of what NFL GMs and coaches want from a MLBer. Never seen a LB drop in coverage like #54 and his transition from backpedal into flying downhill was simply incredible for a 250lb guy. Utterly dominant from the moment he stepped onto the field, awesome playmaker and an outstanding leader. He will be missed, but after watching him last season, tough to say he was still among the top 10 in the league. But I am happy he made this decision, so us fans don’t have to suffer watching him play in another uniform. That would kill me! He deserved to retire a Bear, and he did! And on his own terms! IMO..he is a sure-fire first ballot HOFer. No doubt in my mind!! Thanks Lach, for 13 great years! BEAR DOWN!!!
