  1. Basically, you fill out the below form and I'll insert you into the NCAA 14 and follow the stats on every player. I'll probably do updates on the characters 2/3 times a season along with bowl games. Anyone care to try it out? First Name: Last Name: Player Position: Jersey Number: Handedness: Hometown: Height: Weight: Skin Tone: Accessories: Strengths: Weaknesses: Star Rating:
  2. Sanjay Dunderjeep The outside linebacker from Mumbai is definitely a talent for an international player. With supreme tackling and speed, he can reach almost anywhere on the field. That doesn't mean he chooses to. His coverage skills are beyond bad for a 4 star player, and to be able to make a large impact this year, he is going to need to improve. Otherwise he could end up not even playing football. CC Wood Another raw prospect from Mumbai, Wood is incredibly fast with solid hands that can latch onto the ball at almost any angle. His route running isn't too good, but average for a player of his caliber. The talent and potential is there, but it is unsure how his game will translate to college. Maybe he is just a bust? Damian Sanservino This 6'1, 245 pound defensive general is one of the most aware players on the field at any given time. The one fault in his game, like many middle linebackers is that he is constantly burnt in coverage. If he can hang with the guys he is assigned to, he will be a shutdown, clutch player. Don't be surprised if he heads across the country to play football. There isn't much hope for the Buffaloes or Rams. (I'll get the other 3 tonight.)
  3. Yeah, the college one is about to start back up, I just got to post the stats from last season and do rookie checkovers. I got a season to do first though. Time to find out where Ahbeeb is going this year, and if Levens or Carr start.
  4. With the 15th pick of the NFL draft. The Dallas Cowboys have selected... Craig Carr As the 5th quarterback to go off the board, and in a draft with 9 first round QB's; Craig Carr has high expectations hanging over his head. In the first week of preseason he seemed to be the guaranteed backup QB, but after Kyle Orton broke out in practices, Craig plummeted to the bottom of the depth chart. A lock for the roster, but hardly receiving any snaps behind Romo and Orton, Carr managed to scrap together 153 yards on 8 of 21. Still, Romo threw 2 interceptions, and Orton threw none. At this rate, Carr is going to be a long term backup, but if Orton moves and Romo falls behind on his game? Craig is a lock for the starting spot. America's team suits Carr in the long run. Hopefully he won't have to suffer in weak talentless teams like in college. With the 24th pick of the 2nd round(56th overall) of the NFL Draft. The Carolina Panthers have selected... Ahman Levens After posting above average combine ratings, Levens rose up into the 2nd round. In a committee backfield, Levens sat at 4th of 6 running backs heading into training camp. By week 3 Kenjon Barner was sent on his way to the FA market. Levens, not even getting a single preseason snap yet, broke out in the kick return game. A hammer going down the field, Levens impressed coaches by hitting a defender so hard, that the hit to chest caused a concussion. With otherworldly abilities to plow forward, Levens took over the kick returning position. In week 4, Tauren Poole was released, leaving Levens at the back end of a committee loaded with older and depleted talents. DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, and Knowshon Moreno. Expect a big year in the kick return game, and if one of the main backs falls, Levens might even shoot up the ladder. Undrafted. Seemingly unwanted. The linebacker out of Notre Dame, Jermaine Cole. After failing to be invited to the combine, Jermaine Cole completely skipped all workouts, expecting to be a late pick anyways. After failing to be picked up by any team in the draft, Cole waited patiently in hopes of getting grabbed afterwards by a team looking to make an impact with an undrafted rookie. After a week he quickly searched around for work, and was taken hesitantly by the Jaguars. After missing a few practices, and failing to prove himself anything but a beatable, zone coverage only type man, he was traded. In return for Jermaine, the Buccaneers gave the Jags a 7th round pick for the upcoming year. Jermaine continued to slack off until his final day of practices, after he was already informed he would be cut. Launching into a rageful state of mind, Jermaine laid out any man who'd come within 5 yards of him while carrying the ball. Too little too late. Now sitting in Free Agency, Jermaine is waiting for a caller. Week 1 is starting soon, and it's about time for Jermaine to hang up the cleats. Update: Kyle Orton is out for the remainder of the regular season with a fractured hip. Craig Carr is now the backup. DeAngelo Williams is out for the year with a complete ACL tear. The cards are falling right for some noise to be made by both of them.

    Buy or Sell

Sell. Too many receivers to be counting on T.Y. to lead. Personally, I think he has as much opportunity as any top 20 AFC receiver. Remember James Jones leading league last year? Exactly. B/S: Reggie Bush finishes the year statistically as a top 5 RB

    Fantasy Draft Feedback

I knew that all the other QBs would start going soon. Brees, Brady, Rodgers, and Manning were already gone, and the guy after me took Ryan. Reason why I got the receivers I did is because of the possibility of late breakout stars. There wasn't much opportunity after 6th anyways. Kenbrell Thompkins has opportunity to end up a #1 receiver. I'm not buying onto Wallace, so I think Hartline, who had over a 1000 yards receiving last year, is a great late pick at WR. Vincent Brown? Someone has to catch River's passes. Jared Cook was just a last minute guy who I thought would be a great steal. Only reason I only took 4 is 3 starters and arguably a committee back with Ingram. I think I got solid depth out of it. If Mathews gets hurt I can grab a backup off FA.

    Buy or Sell

Sell. Brady is a machine and him going under 1.9ish touchdowns on average a game is a bit unlikely. I could see him hitting low 30's though. B/S: Kenbrell Thompkins is the offensive rookie of the year

    Fantasy Draft Feedback

Might as well post mine here too. 10 person league, 15 round draft. I had the 6th pick(Snake) 1. Doug Martin 2. Chris Johnson 3. Demaryius Thomas 4. Cam Newton 5. Vernon Davis 6. Stevie Johnson 7. Mike Williams 8. Ryan Mathews 9. Mark Ingram 10. Vincent Brown 11. Kenbrell Thompkins 12. Brian Hartline 13. Jared Cook Jr. 14. St. Louis 15. Greg Zuerlein Any thoughts?
  9. Only 2 days until the Madden 25 era of this begins. I will create another thread, Heisman to Hall of Fame, to begin it. There will be no wait for the insertion of H2H players. Charles Adderly will not play, most likely. Craig Carr, due to being an unconventional quarterback, will most likely not play. Ahman Levens out of Nebraska will most likely go in the first round to a struggling team with no true starting RB. Jermaine Cole is most likely to be taken in the second round by a team looking for a capable long-term solution at MLB or ILB. Expect this tackle machine to lead a franchise forward for a decade. Jordy Largent is most likely to try but fail at the pro-level. Expect a solid CFL player. Dunderjeep, Wood, Sanservino, Freeman, Daniel, and McCoy. Coming shortly to games near you.

    I apologize. Sell.I don't think he'll stay healthy enough to get past 85 or 90. B/S Browns hit .500

    Buy or Sell

Sell. As much as I would like to see Weeden achieve it, and as much as I think he has the talent to; he doesn't have enough targets. Josh Gordon, Jordan Cameron, Greg Little, and Trent Richardson are not gonna pull together 25 TD's.

    Biggest Douche in the NFL

    Titus Young. Not even close
  15. Even from a Bengals fan, this guy is out of his mind thinking we win the super bowl.
  16. How bout that Jeff Tuel? 83% 212 yards and 2 TDs. I think that the Bengals vs. Falcons game really helped show how much depth we have. Once the starters got off the field the Bengals began to pull away with the game quickly. Unimpressed with Gio so far, but Burkhead was running tough and picking up good yardage. James Harrison looks like a definite gamechanger on defense.

    Predict Your Team's Regular Season

I think the Bucs are almost evenly matched with the Pats. Only major bad differences are at LB and QB for Bucs.
  21. This is officially on hold until Madden 25 comes out. Then comes the real fun.
