David Pollack. 3 time SEC First Team. 3 time All-American. 2 time SEC player of the year. Chuck Bednarik award winner. Lott trophy winner. Lombardi award winner. 2 time Ted Hendricks award. Part of the Florida-Georgia hall of fame. Only played for 2 years before he broke his neck/back. Could never come back from it. He really could have been something special.

That's why I still have the Patriots above the Dolphins. If I didn't have any faith in Brady, I'd have them much lower on this list, and probably not even have them as a wild card team. I like Amendola and Gronk, but talent beyond that? Edelman, Dobson, and Jenkins. Dobson could develop into a good #2 or even #1, but for this season I don't think it'll happen. I'm personally not a fan of the Saints defense. That offense, with Sean Payton running it behind the scenes, is almost impossible to stop. The Falcons finally grabbed the top spot in the division, but it really comes down to which defense is holding down the ship. If the Falcons lose all progress on D, I can see New Orleans owning that division crown come playoff time. I think a lot of the reason the Colts had so many turnovers is because Luck had to force throws so many times. That line was just horrific last year, and if it doesn't get fixed up I can see Luck struggling to keep those turnovers out of his game. What do you think of LaRon Landry coming in on defense?

Considering that the Patriots have lost so many offensive weapons, I don't know how they will fare against other top teams. I think the Pats will continue to crush lesser teams, but there isn't much hope for a deep playoff run. Unless Brady is legendary this season, or the defense is better than ever, I can't see them going past divisional rounds. I don't know for sure, but I have a feeling that the Saints and Colts will be good this year. If the Saints D can stop something for once, they could probably challenge the Falcons for divisional crown. Colts? How are you gonna stop Bradshaw, Luck, Heyward-Bey, Hilton, and Wayne? Even with a poor defense, they are primed to tear it up offensively. Feel free. I love feedback. I think right now we know what those three teams are at. Possibly wild card teams with talent, but not enough execution. I'm not the biggest fan of the Dolphins, but I like what they are doing so far. Granted, they might not fit together with all those FA pieces; but I think they can pull 9-7. Especially with a weak division, they can really light things up this year. Tannehill just needs to improve and it is almost easy to get a wild card spot. I think the defensive line they are building is going to be top 5 this upcoming year. Wake, Jordan, Soliai, and Starks(As you already know) are already elite as a whole. Wallace and Gibson give Tannehill good options outside of Hartline. Dustin Keller if he successfully comes back from that injury? A top 10 TE. I don't have as much faith in Lamar Miller as everyone else does though. I wouldn't say that they have the talent of the Steelers, Bears, or Giants. They have a better overall team though. Brandon Marshall is a lot better than any Dolphins receiver. I'd take the Dolphins receivers as a group though. That's just one example.

Redone, now that I've thought over all the Chargers discussion and stuff. I think 20-27 is almost anyone's game though. Consistency could bring any of those teams up into the teens.

I apologize. I meant the general group of teams is bad. Pittsburgh does sit above the rest. I think there are 5 tiers of teams right now. Contenders 1-5. Elite 6-11. Wild card competition 12-19. Rebuilding/Give them some time 20-27. Clear bottom 28-32. When I mean middle of the pack, I'm talking about 5-11 to 7-9 teams. Talent wise, I see San Diego at 27. Record wise, I see them in the 20 area.

That middle of the pack spot between 27-20 is a toss-up. I just think of all the teams there, if I had to one season run them, who would be the best. I won't deny that progress is being made, but I'd take the Chiefs or Browns over the Chargers right now. I don't think they have enough talent to consistently and dominantly win games. For example, the Chiefs are on the rise. They're becoming better and better through the offseason. The Chargers are in football purgatory right now. Maybe the new coaching staff turns them into a 10-6 team. Maybe they go 3-13. If I had an estimate on their schedule, I'd say 2-4 in the division and wins over Redskins, Jags, Eagles, and maybe Titans.

No. Prove me wrong. You won against bad teams. Raiders x2 Chiefs x2 Jets Titans Steelers. The Browns even won.

I highly doubt Andre is gonna fall off the cliff this year. He is still a top 10 receiver, and maybe even a top 5 receiver. DeAndre Hopkins hasn't proven himself yet and there is no depth beyond him. But since the horse is still working, why not feed it?

I think overall as a team, the Chargers lack talent. On both sides of the ball, I think they are just below average. Unless the offense finally starts putting up points and the defense steps up more consistently I doubt that there will be many wins. The Colts have the chance to be great this year. Luck is an absolute monster when he has time to throw the ball, and their offense continues to add pieces. Ahmad Bradshaw and Darrius Heyward-Bey are going to give Luck so many more options. Cherilus and Warford should help that god-awful line. My main worry is the defensive play, especially with Freeney gone. Then again, they weren't even utilizing him correctly.

Adriel Jeremiah Green AJ is already an arguably amazing receiver. In my opinion, right behind Calvin. I hardly ever see him drop passes, and the only reason why he isn't putting up better stats is because Dalton can't throw deep. He is a very humble guy though, and says he isn't even close to elite yet, and he praises Dalton for his ability. Just a very good guy overall.

An elite QB doesn't need multiple weapons, but Dalton isn't gonna be truly elite. He's servicable. If we load him up on weapons, we have a much better chance. Look at Bradford. If he had more weapons he could possibly sneak into top 10 conversations. An elite QB makes a receiver good. An elite WR makes a QB good(a bit different but similar). We have Green as our elite WR. Now we just need pressure off him.

Buy. Luck is only gonna rise from here. He may throw a decent amount of picks, but he is gonna light up the scoreboard. B/S: RGIII has a better statistical year passing the ball

Adding more weapons usually helps a quarterback. AJ Green is the go to guy for Dalton, but Bernard and Eifert are going to make a hell of an impact on the ability of the offense. The more Dalton plays and gets adjusted to the offense, the better he will get. I personally can see him pulling a 30-35 TD 10-15 INT season. It's not too far-fetched. For all we know, Dalton may end up just like Palmer, but I'd take a chance on somebody who is still a wild card, as to somebody who falls off the map after the first three years. That's what longevity means in a team, right? A team that doesn't fall down after a good year or two.

I'd take a QB that has been in two playoff games over one that hasn't played in any. I never claimed that the playoffs had an effect on who wins the AFC North. It's pretty well known that the playoffs are a whole new season. The Ravens and Steelers usually turn up once they get into the second season, not even gonna deny that. If it was the Bengals and the Ravens or Steelers in the playoffs, I would think the Steelers or Ravens would go farther, just by history, but when it comes to who wins the AFC North? I think Cincinnati has the best shot.
