Defensive and Offensive ROTY...
KempBolt replied to DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F's topic in General NFL Talk
My picks would be Martin and Donald. I think they'll give it to Beckham and Mosley. -

What player would you take from your opponents team?
KempBolt replied to Dutch's topic in General NFL Talk
Marshall Yanda baby. Mmmmmm. -
Poor guy. I hope he makes a full recovery. Don't like to see anyone go through that, even if they play for KC.
-
It's a bummer. He was the best rookie corner in this class.

I'm picking the Cardinals. I have doubted them for a long, long time. No more. I know you can poke holes in their resume, but what they've done through all of the injuries is truly incredible. Their defense is scary, especially now that the secondary has rounded into shape. Dan Williams eats people on early downs, and Campbell is maybe playing the best DL of anyone in the league not named Justin James Watt. Their offense lacks a bell cow runner, and the QB situation is questionable, but they can afford to take risks with Stanton and their pass catchers are varied and dangerous. The Packers were the only other team that I seriously considered. And they're on fire right now, but I don't want to let recency bias totally inform this pick.

Not sure that the knowledge of a rib injury changes anything for how defenders will go after Rivers. The torso and thighs are basically the only area that defenders can legally target anyways.

I changed two picks. Now have CLE over HOU and ARI over DET.

Luckiest team is obviously the Raiders. Getting such good play out of your rookie class, and still heading towards the #1 overall pick? Fuhgettabawdit.
