I'm not saying that the Broncos generally get favoritism from the refs. I am saying that in this game, they did. And it's been an issue for the Chargers over the years when they've had to play there.

The call should have stood as called. But the bigger issue was that the officials were calling the game really close when we were on defense, and really loosened up for the Broncos. The prime example being the holding call that took away Weddle's pick. If that was holding, then the Broncos were holding all day. It was an expanding strike zone. Typical Denver BS.

I think we have a case when we're relatively healthy, but we're wrecked right now so now a chance. I'll take the Ravens. Very well balanced/diversified. The Colts are in play as well.

I don't like TNF, but that game came down to the Chargers being down 7 starters and 3 key role players on the road. And the refs took away our chance to win or play closer with their bullshit. If they didn't find a way to give both our turnovers back to Denver, that game comes down to the wire and we potentially win.

I didn't. Not down top two corners, two pass rushers, and a starting linebacker with the refs doing everything in their power to help Manning and company. We didn't stand a chance after they took away two legit turnovers.

We are way too banged up to deal with the Broncos on a short week, but still SCREW the officiating in Denver. They always do their best to make sure we lose. They push me towards conspiracy theories. Taking away Weddle's pick was an abomination.

Facing a vicious pass rush with a white hot running back averaging over 5 YPC, we elect to throw, throw, throw. Which means that we punt, punt, punt and lose the TOP battle 4:1. Had 5 backups on defense most of the time, meaning we missed tackles like it was our job. Whoever was responsible for the play calls (Rivers/McCoy/Reich) blew this game.

In my opinion, Dimitroff cooked his goose when he invested two 1st rd picks, a 2nd rd pick, and two 4th rd picks in a wide receiver. I don't care how good he is. He could be twice the player he's become and it still would have been idiotic.

This can't be considered anything but a win for Minnesota, but Sharrif Floyd is not a good player yet. Weak run defender and getting outplayed by Tom Johnson as a pass rusher.

I think that they should be open to an upgrade if they find themselves in position to draft a guy that they love. Conversely, if they don't love any of the QB's in the draft then I think they'd be way smarter to start rebuilding that supporting cast and keep Glennon in there. He has shown enough to keep unless there's a clear blue chip alternative. And you have to wonder what he can do with another year of experience and something other than a dumpster fire blocking for him in the middle. According to what? And I believe that BWare noted that the defense is helped tremendously by ball control offense. Which is working, and worked for the Chargers last year, and is still working for them now. We have a very large sample size that suggests that Seattle is a really good football team and especially great at home. I'm not wavering because of 6 weeks.

Yes, because their heavy hitters are mostly backloaded. So I don't think they'll pick up the losses that really take them out of the discussion until later in the year. Looking at SEA in wk 11, DEN in wk 13, ARI in wk 14, and SD in wk 17. But before wk 11, they have matchups against the Rams, Jets, and Bills. They could feasibly sweep that group and be right back in the conversation. Andy Reid is nails coming off his bye week, and the Chargers are the walking dead right now, so there's a real chance they beat us at home this weekend.
