  1. What would be easier to swallow- this, where it looks like Von is a total dumbass doing drugs a week prior to TC, or PED's?

It's not PEDs. I would completely lose all respect for him. I may even change the nameplate on my jersey.

I'm hearing now that it possibly might not even be for the substance policy, which could be much, much worse.

  2. Don't despair! Crash will be here soon to explain how this actually benefits the Broncos and how it's been Elway's plan all along.

    LMAO..... :panic:

Shaun Phillips STARTING for the Broncos. Never thought I'd see the day.

Hey, this will get younger guys some game reps.

  3. This is freaking tragic. I don't even have words for how depressed I am. Von Miller strikes me as a pretty intelligent guy. MDMA, at the LONGEST, will show up on a piss test for no more than FIVE days. How the fark are you so god damn stupid when training camp is right around the corner? :chair: He had to be poppin them last week to fail that. Herb will stay in your system for around a month, but it's likely he was doing that at the same time.

Training camp is literally days away... :wtf:

The Broncos' organization looks like a night club in the '70s right now.

  4. Mucho props putting Von at #1. Your list is excellent. You should do a simple top-20 pass-rushers ranking considering all positions. I would put Jared Allen a shade higher, you can't rank a list on pass rushing and knock him because of run D. Doom could be a little higher too. I think he'll have a big year playing with Suggs and with that chip on his shoulder.

Much like Greg Goldberg in D3: The Mighty Ducks, I can jump in as emergency D help and also trick plays. :yay:

  6. I'm a Microsoft fanboy almost to a fault

Here's the news that came out of their panel at comicon:

    http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/07/20/the-future-of-xbox

Ken Lobb, Creative Director at Microsoft, has been trying to revive Killer Instinct for years. Rather than go into tons of detail about the game itself, Ken showed highlights from EVO, the recent fighting name tournament in Las Vegas. At EVO, Ken used Project Upload to record a match where a dev broke a fan's 100+ win streak through some of the games new combo breakers. The match highlights were used as a sort of demo of the Xbox One's new video recording feature, which automatically records and stores locally the last five minutes of every game you play. Whenever something cool happens, you simply say "Xbox record" and it saves out the last 30 seconds of gameplay for upload and sharing.

More impressively, the controllers automatically recognize who is holding the controller through the camera. When the controller is passed from player to player, the games automatically load individual controller profiles for that player. Now passing controllers around during a game won't require you to back out to the options menu and change look inversion.

Dan Greenawalt, Creative Director of Turn10, creators of Forza, talked about more of the haptic a and rumble motors in the controller. The individual rumble in the triggers are being used to provide feedback on the tire performance, so players will have even more awareness of grip and braking. While that's impressive, the video showing a Prague course in 1080p and 60fps was even more amazing.

Keeping on the theme of graphics, Josh Bridge showed off a highlight reel from the insanity that is Dead Rising 3. The sequel will offer more zombies than ever before, a larger world, and no loading times. That's the big news, but Josh also took time to highlight, via a slideshow, some of the added details, from physics driven glass shards to biologically appropriate innards when you dismember zombies with your lightsaber.

We've already covered some of the Smartglass integration in Microsoft's Ryse, but producer Justin Robey was on hand to discuss how Smartglass can display where your friends are in each of their games and can help you prep multiplayer sessions without having to load the game first. So if you're playing Ryse, you can invite a bunch of your friends to a Dead Rising match, and will be notified in Ryse when all players are ready.

Nick Burton, lead of new technology at Rare, introduced the topic of Kinect, and how the fidelity had not been "quite there" in the previous generation. It could track about 20 points on the body. The Xbox One is about 10x the resolution of the current version and can read the folds in your face and discriminate among your fingers even at 3 meters. Hand positions can now be read for better fidelity in bowling and rock climbing games. The team have even created a target shooting game that uses your hand and eye positions in place of an actual light gun.

As amazing as that is, Nick had even more surprises. He showed a Kinectic produced mask of his own face that can the be mapped to in-game models. Rather than the gamer pic versions of yourself in games like Rainbow Six, you can now import your own face geometry and even your BMI onto character models in the games. The whole game also tracks your face during gameplay and will reproduce your real life facial expressions on the in game models.

All these features are so-called system level features and will be available to any game that chooses to use them.

  7. I'm actually a little excited to see Gus Bradley's iteration of the Jaguars this year. He's doing a lot of the right things in a rebuild. I think the defense may surprise some people but I don't know that it will be this year. They are really young in the backend.

If he can keep MJD on the field I can see them at 6-7 wins. Blackmon is going to have to keep himself out of trouble as well to keep the heat off CSIII. If not, well, it won't be all that different from last year. I wouldn't mind if they bombed though to keep the Raiduhs from getting Clowney. :panic:

  8. Trailer was pretty awesome. I think they revealed a little too much... though if some of those people make it, it will be interesting/stupid how they make it out of those situations.

I've been yelling at them for 6 months to fortify the outer fence of the prison, that's just common sense.

I hope Daryl and Michonne have a baby... it will come out of the womb killing zombies. :yep:

  9. Note to NFL execs: Get drunk as shit and jump in a car and we'll give you a slap on the wrist and a summer vacation.

Suspensions were BS. At least one of these guys should have gotten the axe. Both if it were me wielding it. Completely dangerous irresponsibility and a blemish on the organization. :censored:

At the very least they should have traded them to Chicago :corn:

  10. Knowshon might still be the best back on the roster, if he can just keep himself on the field for more than 6 games. They're going to give Montee and Ronnie the first looks, but if those guys struggle in pass pro you better believe ol' Peyt is going to demand Kno Mo be the guy.

I love Kno and hope he gets to play a big role so he can get a good contract after they let him go after this year. He showed me a lot last year in how he handled himself after his relatively unjust benching. When he finally got back in the fold after McGahee fumbled and crumbled, he was looking better running the ball than I've ever seen him. He's never been a burner, but he had no hesitation behind the line, great vision, outstanding hands like usual, and man did he finish runs. @TB and @KC were great games for him that come to mind.

  11. DRC has the most potential upside on the list I think. The Broncos' defensive backs coaches have done a crazy good job with Chris Harris and Tony Carter, who have half the physical gifts of DRC. If they can get DRC to turn the corner like those undrafted guys, look out.

Revis would clearly be my other pick, given a 100% healthy return. It's not often that you can pick up the best player in football in free-agency.

  12. Al Sharpton is probably the most racist person in the country right now. The stuff he's saying and encouraging people to do is disgusting. He may put on the front of "peaceful" protest, but he knows damn well what's going to come of it. You want people to stop being racist? Stop giving them reason to be. You see these guys going nuts in LA, overturning police cars and throwing trashcans through Burger King windows, I'd be willing to bet they don't give two shits about Trayvon Martin, and were just waiting for a racially motivated reason to riot.

I don't know if they actually think vandalism and acts of crime will suddenly overturn the verdict, but it's getting ridiculous, and it needs to stop.

  13. I read that Heckert's BAC was .162 SEVEN HOURS after his initial arrest.

Completely rampant irresponsibility. I don't care if they both get let go. They need to be made an example of that this kind of behavior won't be tolerated within this organization at any level. It's incredibly fortunate that they didn't hurt anyone but themselves.

  14. What could he possibly learn flying across the country to stand around with Mark Sanchez?

Do you think Sanchez would actually give him reps with the important guys that he is there to gel with? :nope:

Geno is a POS though. I'm counting down the days till he throws his offense/team under the bus.
