Seattle has beaten San Francisco eight straight times overall and six in a row at home (regular season). Both are Seattle's longest active streaks against a single opponent. San Francisco lost last week at Tampa Bay, 27-9, failing to score in double digits for the first time this season and falling to 0-6 on the road. The 49ers' franchise has endured four winless road seasons all-time, most recently in 1979. Seattle has gone 6-3 since opening the season 0-2. The Seahawks had more than 110 rushing yards in eight straight games before being held to 75 last week, but they passed for a season-high 322 yards. The team leads the NFL in rushing yards per game at 147.1 while the 49ers rank fifth at 134.9. Matt Breida is averaging 5.8 yards per carry this season, trailing only Aaron Jones (6.0) among players with at least 100 rushes. Breida has rushed for 100+ yards in each of the last two weeks, the first 49er to do so in back-to-back games since Frank Gore in 2014. Gore was the last to do it in three straight (2011). Russell Wilson lost two of his first four career starts versus the 49ers but has since gone 8-0 against them. His .833 win percentage versus San Francisco is the highest by any QB all-time (min. 10 starts). The Seahawks limit opponents to a 44.4 conversion percentage on 3rd-and-1, lowest in the NFL, while the 49ers rank second at 45.5 percent. Backing it out to 3rd-and-short (less than four yards), the 49ers have the lowest opponent conversion percentage at 42.1 while the Seahawks rank second at 44.8.
