Vin+ 3,121 Posted December 9, 2018 Quote http://hosted.stats.com/fb/preview.asp?g=20181209024&home=24&vis=4 Cincinnati has won four straight games over the Chargers, its longest winning streak in the history of the series. A fifth straight win by the Bengals would give them the longest winning streak by either team in the series. The Bengals have allowed 167 points in the second quarter this season. Only one team in NFL history has allowed more points in any quarter in the first 12 games of a season, the 1948 Lions who allowed 175 points in the fourth quarter through 12 games. The Chargers are 19-4 since Week 11 of last season, tied for the best record in the NFL. They have gained 300 or more yards of total offense in 21 straight games, the longest streak in franchise history and the longest active streak in the league. Through Week 14, the Chargers have played the easiest schedule in the NFL. Meanwhile, the Bengals are tied with the Raiders for the toughest schedule in the league through Week 14. Tyler Boyd is 62 yards away from joining A.J. Green, Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh as the only Bengals receivers to reach 1,000 yards in a season since 2000. Boyd is also tied for the league lead in first-down catches on third down this season. Philip Rivers has thrown multiple touchdown passes in each of the first 12 games, one shy of the NFL record for consecutive games with 2+ TD passes to start a season, held by Peyton Manning (2004 Ind) and Aaron Rodgers (2011 GB).
