The Niners won in Los Angeles in Week 17 last season. The 49ers tied a season low in points with nine against Chicago last week, their fewest at home since Week 1 last season. They'll finish with six or fewer wins for four consecutive seasons for the second time ever (1977-80). The Rams snapped a two-game losing streak with a 31-9 win over Arizona, the second time they've held an opponent to fewer than 10 points this season (shut out Arizona in Week 2). It was also their first time scoring more than 30 points in their last four games, after doing so in nine of their first 11 games. The Rams have allowed opponents to have drives of 10+ plays just 15 times this season, tied with Jacksonville for the fewest in the league. The 49ers have allowed only 20 such drives, good for fourth fewest in the league (Seattle, 18). Nick Mullens has thrown for 1995 yards this season, in just seven games -- an average of 285.0 yards per game. Jeff Garcia (1999) is the only Niners rookie to throw for over 2000 yards, and none have ever averaged over 200 yards per game (minimum 50 percent of team games). With 216 passing yards last week, Jared Goff reached 4489 passing yards this season, surpassing Kurt Warner's 1999 season for second most in team history. He needs 341 yards this week to tie Warner's franchise record of 4830, set in the 2001 season. Jared Goof might become the Rams single season passing yards leader. Incredible.
