AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted April 13, 2011 Mike Mayock of NFL Network said on Path to the Draft Wednesday that North Carolina LB Bruce Carter may not be available for his rookie season after December 14 ACL surgery. This runs contrary to previous positive reports about Carter's knee. At this point, we're not sure what to believe. MLive.com's Tom Kowalski reported on April 7 that he "kept hearing" Carter would be ready for the season. We'll find out on April 29, most likely. Carter is a top-15 talent, so even if he spends his rookie year on I.R, he could still be a third-round pick. Source: USA Today
