Is this a good start to turning around a fantasy team?

Ok my only fantasy team that took a loss this week, didn't just lose but was brutally embarrassed 130-49. Lost a stud Britt for the season and not only am i not deep at runningback but my 1st round pick hasn't even managed 100 yards in 3 weeks COMBINED! (CJ) So much for that new contract.

Dropping Britt and attempting to pick up Sidney Rice and in an attempt to sure up my rb position I offered the guy who was ranked last in the league Cam Newton for Fred Jackson and he ACCEPTED!

 

Huge return value getting an every week starter fantasy stud back for a QB who i probably would have only played once. Plus i already have my stud QB and he has a much more favorable schedule than Cam.

 

Even though i lost Britt i'll still be solid at WR. Once Austin is back i'll have him along with Lloyd and Moss/Green/Rice (depending on the matchup) and lets not forget Hernandez. CJ you would have to think will snap out of this slump at some time also. Hes too talented to continue on being this bad. Him and Jackson could be quite the fantasy pair. This team has the potential to be really good in a few weeks.

It was definitely a good plan. Offering him a trade he couldn't refuse. Definitely think you could have gotten more out of him than just Jackson. Especially with Newton.
