Photography: Grand Tetons

These were shot down in Grand Tetons National Park which is almost a continuation off of the southern entrance to Yellowstone.

 

I wish I had more than a half day to shoot the park, but here's a taste. I was in Yellowstone and made just a short day trip down. I want to go night shoot the Tetons at some point.

p.s. a buddy of mine is an amazing painter and is getting to be well known. He asked me if I'd sell him artistic license to a few of my photos to be painted. I told him instead I'd love for him to just give me one of the paintings. I'm still undecided on what I want him to paint, but he's finished a few of the pictures I gave him for inspiration.

any suggestions on what he should paint for me are welcome. But I'll have him paint something Yellowstone/Montana because he's a local artist and it would be weird to request an African painting.
