BwareDWare94 723 Posted September 9, 2015 (edited) In an open newsletter, medical professionals from Johns Hopkins have officially dubbed the exaggerated Southern drawl a speech disorder. Most often seen in modern country music artists such as Justin Moore, Luke Bryan, and Michigan-born Jana Kramer, the drawl has spread through the fanbase of mainstream country, resulting in a boatload of individuals who sound ridiculous and uneducated. The disorder also results in spurts of Tourette's Syndrome where sufferers will spontaneously holler things like "beer" or "tailgates" or "tanned legs." Singers with the disorder, such as Luke Bryan, have found ways to make the spontaneous outbursts fit into their songs, so much so that fans don't even notice because so many of the words in the lyrics are among those that Bryan would burst out with, anyway.
