I was shocked I was the first to say Cooks too. As much as I hate to admit it, he's gonna make an immediate impact in New Orleans and pretty much be a better Sproles for them.

OROY: Brandin Cooks
DROY: Khalil Mack

Love the Robert Herron pick for the Bucs in the 6th. Seems just like the receiver we needed. Quick, small and good in open space. Even though he is a 6th rounder, he'll probably immediately take over our slot role because our receivers behind V-Jax and Evans suck so bad.
Don't know much about the two o-line men we got, but we definitely needed a OG and I'm happy we took one today.
-
Oakland is quietly having a very good draft. They need to fix that o-line though if they want any chance of Carr succeeding.
-
Hopefully the Bucs go OG with their first pick today. Even if they do think Nicks will be back and ready to play, we need help at guard.
-
Rams, Texans and Raiders have had the best drafts, IMO.
-
Great move by the 49ers. They already had a bunch of picks and giving up a 4th for a receiver as good as Johnson is nothing. 49ers sure have a lot of weapons for Kap now.

Interesting day 2 for the Bucs. I thought for sure an OG would be drafted. Love the ASJ pick. Him, V-Jax and Evans are gonna cause nightmares for defenses. Sims is an intriguing player, but we are already so loaded at RB with Doug, Rainey, James and even Demps is starting to play now apparently. He's a great catcher from what I've read/heard and Tedford wants RB's who can do that for his offense, so I guess it kind of makes sense. I just think we should have addressed OG at some point today. Lovie and Licht must be pretty damn confident that Nicks is gonna come back.

Sims seems like an intriguing player, but we already have so many RB's. I wish we took Yankey with that pick.

With the rumors of the Bucs being on the phone with teams that are looking to trade up, my wishlist has changed to trading down and acquiring an extra pick or two and then selecting the best OG available with our 2nd rounder. For the 3rd round, as long as we take a slot WR, pass rusher or possibly even another OG, I'd be happy.
-
NFLN was just saying that the Bucs have been in contact with teams that are looking to trade up. I would love to move down and recoup a 4th rounder. If we took the best OG available with our 2nd rounder and took a slot WR/pass rusher with our 3rd, in addition to adding an extra pick, I'd consider it a very successful day 2.

Great trade for the 49ers.
-
Happy with the Evans pick. If we can grab a speedy slot guy today or ASJ, this offense has the potential to be pretty damn scary.

Best
- Got two studs on each side of the line. Robinson was the best o-line men in the draft, IMO. I was also very high on Donald and with him, Quinn and Long on the same line, they will have the best D-line in the NFL. They're gonna be a huge problem for opposing o-lines.
Worst
- Trading a 1st rounder next year to move up 5 spots to get a WR in a deep WR class? Don't like the move at all for the Bills, especially when they already have two solid receivers in Stevie Johnson and Mike Williams. I'm also no where near as high on Watkins as most people are.

Saints getting Brandin Cooks really scares me. He's gonna be an even better Sproles for them. Brees is gonna love having him as a weapon.

Very happy with the Mike Evans pick for the Bucs.
LOVE the Rams draft so far. That d-line is going to be nasty with Quinn, Long and Donald. I also think Robinson was the best o-line men in the draft.

I will keep track of who gets picked where on my laptop. I'm really really sick of hearing about it, and to be completely honest, the 24/7 NFL coverage that now exists makes it much easier for me to appreciate the offseason, because good fucking God. I like football, and I care about who goes where, but this constant, non-stop coverage is just brutally irritating.
As long as the Vikings don't take Carr over Bortles, I'll be happy.
This is basically my beef with the NFL right now. They've done a great job getting everyone excited about otherwise incredibly boring events. I'll give them that.
LOL @ the draft being boring. I do agree that the NFL is trying to do too much to have football coverage 24/7, but how could you say the draft is incredibly boring?
-
If you consider yourself a fan, I don't understand how you don't watch the draft. This is one of the most exciting days for me as a NFL fan, especially this draft with how unpredictable it is.
Anyways, I'll probably be watching by myself at home or with my friend. Usually I watch it with a bunch of people at school, but it falls at a weird time this year where I'm back from school, but all of my friends from home are still at school besides one lol.

Schefter tweeted today that the Jets, Lions, Browns (with 2nd pick), 49ers, Texans (from 2nd to 1st) and Falcons (from 2nd to 1st) have all expressed interest in trading up.
He also tweeted the Raiders, Bucs, Titans, Ravens, Dolphins and Pats have all expressed interest in trading down.

I swear to everything. If the Lions trade up for ANY reason, especially Watkins, I'll be so pissed. Please God don't let that happen.
What about Evans?
Evans is too similar to Megatron, IMO. Obviously not saying he will be anywhere near as dominate as Megatron, but they are both huge bodies and I think the Lions would rather have a guy like Watkins, who can pretty much do anything and is good in open space. He'd be a perfect compliment to Megatron. The rumors are all saying the Lions want to trade up for him too, so we'll see.
I'd trade up for neither. Would be happier with a trade up for Evans as I see him as a possible future superstar, which is far more then what I can say about Watkins.
I agree. Definitely wouldn't want to trade up into the top 5 for any receiver. I'm just saying I think Watkins would fit in with the Lions better than Evans.

I was very high on Cooks before the draft and I just think New Orleans was the perfect spot for him to make an immediate impact. Brees gets the ball out of his hands quick and Sean Payton is an offensive mastermind that I'm sure has many plans for Cooks. With Graham and Colston opening up the middle, there will be a lot of space for Cooks to work with.
