    Trump Regime thread.

You put way too much faith in the polls. The same polls that all pretty much unanimously said Trump had no chance at beating Hillary (interestingly enough, Hillary was supposed to win with the moderates too) and again, Biden has been in politics for decades. The Republicans will expose all the skeletons in his closet. They will expose his obvious dimentia and he will have nowhere to hide. It will be just, him, Trump and guys like Karl Rove. Biden will get absolutely masacred by Trump.

Whether you like him/agree or not. People want healthcare, people want a raise and people want out of debt. He's offering people something other than a return to the normalcy that got Trump into the white house.

You're out of mind more than Biden is if you think Trump is losing to Biden lol . Once Biden isn't running against 20 people he will be exposed. The Republicans won't take it easy on him like the Democrats have outside of Castro at the last debate. They will be absolutely ruthless lol. All the dirty laundry will come out. They'll harp on his OBVIOUS dimentia and Trump will fucking LANDSLIDE him. The only Democrats that can beat Trump are Sanders, Tulsi and Yang. Some milquetoast Democrat will never beat Trump. It would have to be somebody who excites the voting base, not someone who Democrats and left leaning independents have to hold their nose and vote for. Biden is against literally every issue that the left is passionate about. Literally every single one Biden is there to tell us how it can't happen yet or how millennials need to stfu. Lol guess what Joe, if you want to be president you need Millennials to SHOW the fuck up because we're the biggest voting block in the country right now.

If the DNC keeps trying to rig elections and have the super delagates hand pick candidates, voter turnout will be in the tank and it won't matter what happens with Trump or Pence.

Well Sanders also wants to guarantee jobs by building new, green infrastructure. We do still need to bring up minimum wage because most of the jobs that have been created that Trump and Obama before him have bragged about ad nauseum are retail and service jobs. I think Sanders also has a lot of important points on bringing workers into the boardroom too. It's not just about raising minimum wage for him. I like the way the Germans do it. Not saying we can bring their system in wholesale but workers need to have a voice in the workplace. Executives of these big corporations just don't understand a lot of the day to day on the ground shit. I also like that Sanders is for eliminating a lot of personal debt and giving everyone health care. I think that would free people up to be entrepreneurs more, be able to get loans and switch jobs freely. He's also spoken about anti-trust issues which is huge for me. I honestly prefer Tulsi over both, she pissed me off with the Israel stuff but I just think she has the most balls to stand up to the establishment in Washington and Wallstreet. I think that's why she's being kept out of the debates

Tulsi should explain it better though @DalaiLama4Ever. The US is using the Saudis and the Israelis and UAE to do what England failed to do last century. We're using them as our enforcers so we don't have to stretch ourselves so thin to maintain our control over middle eastern oil and other resources. Read The Prince(I'd actually be surprised if you didn't, just trying to make a point). Trump is just some retarded wild card that people like Mike Pompeo have to deal with because they're the ones that actually run the country. I mean, does anyone think Trump even has any interest in in running the country? He likes being in TV. He likes that everyone reads his dumbass tweets but for the most part he just signs off on shit and the same people from the last three Republican administrations are running shit. Besides his stupid trade stuff he feels he needs to do to claim he's fulfilling campaign promises about the horrible trade deals, he's been your typical Republican president, just much more bombastic. The scary thing is Bill Clinton would be doing the same thing and I think there's a good chance Obama would too. It's really sad because he's been the best president of my lifetime very easily and was at least sane when it came to relations with Iran and Russia but he wasn't what I would call good, just not batshit crazy. Certainly not worthy of any Peace prize. He at least knew that WWIII would be a bad thing. If/when Trump gets a second term all bets are off. Right now I think He's hesitant to start a war of that scale right before an election because if nothing else, Trump is good at running for President. He's not nearly as out of touch with what regular people think as most politicians because he's been marketing himself for decades. Problem is, if we get Biden or WARren it might not even matter if he loses in regards to war with Iran and possibly by extension, Russia. You guys should re-think not voting for Sanders. Really hope he has a spot for Tulsi in his administration. She's be a great secretary of state. I really don't think the DNC would ever allow either one to win and all these fucking retards are already declaring they'll vote for Hitler if he won the Democratic nomination just to beat Trump. Idk man. I just don't know.
  7. McConnell and Feinatein aren't all that different on issues that actually matter. They both suck banker cock. Both would send your children to die overseas for blood money without any hesitation at all. Both of them are willing to handout corporate welfare like candy. Difference is McConnell doesn't use identity politics issues and feminism to pretend he's something he's not. He hides behind Jesus and Patriotism to pretend he's not a complete sociopath.
  8. Most liberals want the right to a decent life and a decent wage. Dave Chappelle and Bill Burr are both liberal. They don't like the authoritarianism of PC culture. I think they're much more representative of how the vast majority of people feel. The radical PC left are gulible morons that just like to feel superior or cool (how being a PC pussy could ever be considered cool is beyond me) but they're just an extremely vocal minority that's given an undue platform by the media to distract and divide people and create artificial problems to make it so nobody notices while the fat cat elites run out the back door with all the money. These are people like Hillary Clinton who actually hate the people whose vote they're trying to get. Look up The Church Committee. This is absolutely created by intelligence who has worked with media since media existed.

Where have we seen this public position and private position thing before? We need rank choice voting and we need a constitutional amendment or some other kind of radical campaign finance reform so that we get away from this one party bullshit.

In my experience on that front people don't change and we're talking about putting the guy on the supreme Court. It's not like he's applying for some private sector job. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2018/09/17/did-brett-kavanaugh-give-false-testimony-under-oath/%3foutputType=amp

Did you see the shit he said in high school and college. He seemed like a total douche. Like the type of phrat boy you could totally see date raping girls. That said, I think it overshadowed how the dude just wipes his ass with the bill of Rights and was caught perjuring himself. The dude is just so fucking horrible. He's really a danger to us all but he did Bush a solid and everyone in Trump's administration that isn't a family member was part of the Bush admin.

Warren is already getting Hillary's super delagates. She's already been annointed. This primary process is a total farce. We don't live in a democratic society.

Bernie Sanders has spent almost the entirety of his adult life fighting for working people's issues and civil rights. Yang ran a company. He has the luxary of being able to say whatever he wants. I can't see how getting rid of the profit incentive of denying people health care and just having the legal responsibility of maximizing profit for shareholders and have a single payer negotiator for drug prices doesn't dramatically reduce the cost of health care for us all.

Still don't trust Yang. I think his version of UBI is a scam to trick poor/low education/drug addicted people (and their children) into opting in for less money and phasing out social safety net programs while just raising inflation and prices on goods and services. 1000 a month is probably too much in some cases and too little in others depending on where you live. I get his argument about automation and it's absolutely correct. I'm not against UBI but I think this will hurt poor people the way he wants to do this and I just do not trust this dude one bit. I also really don't like his take on Julian Assange. I'm pissed that Sanders has been pretty much silent on Assange too tbh but at least he values the first amendment enough to say he shouldn't stand trial. Assange, other whistle blowers like Snowden and Manning and the first amendment are near the top as far as my issues go. I think Yang is a fucking snake and he's really smart. I could be wrong. The only thing that gives me pause is the way he's covered in the media. People who want to stick it in the ass of poor people are generally lauded by the press but his stance on Assange is a big bugaboo for me.

How many Hall of Famers are on your team?

I would say Kelce is a lock and Lane Johnson is iffy because of the PED's. I would say Jenkins should get in but probably agree with you on him and as much as it pains me to say it, Brandon Graham doesn't have anywhere near the sack production to even really be considered for the hall of fame. As far as Carson Wentz... let's see him put together a whole season first. He's not even on track at this point. If he plays at his highest level this year and finishes out the season then yeah but at this point considering his college injury history along with the pros it's a stretch to say he's on track.

    Actual Good News...For once

I'm not sure that they need new legislation. There are already antitrust laws on the books but they haven't been enforced in a long time. Maybe they need new legislation because the internet is weird new technology.

This should result in more than just a fine this time. Antitrust is serious business. Of course in this corrupt cesspool we call a government it takes some rich business people losing money to fight for us.

    Actual Good News...For once

Idk man I feel you. It's pretty hard not to be cynical but they're being sued by a member of Congress. There are DA's from multiple states and like I said, some people with some money have...lost some money. That's a pretty significant coalition. I'm not sure that this can just be swept under the rug. Also consider that Google was working with Hillary so Trump's justice department may have an axe to grind here.

Trump fires Bolton which is great news. Unfortunately there is not a lot of hope in him not naming another neocon psychopath to replace him.

    Week 1

Carson Wentz looked like 2017 Carson Wentz. I think most of the offensive struggles in the first half were on Pederson but he got his shit together. Wentz was pretty sharp the whole game.

Libertarian socialism is such an obvious form of government lol. You can't have a free society with a large swath of people living in poverty and war is only ever beneficial to those with money in power.

    Gun Control Poll

We're allowed to debate about guns because it's inconsequential of the larger political/Eoconomic picture. If people were presented with accurate information from genuine and/or rational people it would be a short debate. The same thing is true of abortion and immigration. They instead sensationalize and strawman to distract us while they walk out the back door with all the money. @BwareDWare94 They have the largest voices because they're given a platform by the media and by politicians who want to distract us. Think about high school. How much time did you spend learning about economics or civics? Economics and personal finance were electives in my school and I went to a pretty good high school. It's psychological warfare in the media and just straight up control of information and selection for obedience in school. It is very much us vs them. Now the internet is being censored and the free flow of information is being cut off by large conglomerates that essentially own the internet. Google controls search results. YouTube censors and demonetizes any view that doesn't support the prevailing narrative. Facebook and Twitter are censoring content and banning those who do not support the prevailing narrative and companies like Comcast and Verizon have spent unspeakable amounts of cash trying to control who gets to use the fast lane and who doesn't. I really could care less about guns.

    Super Bowl LIV Picks

You know what, the Pats are the best team in the AFC but I'm gonna say Brady's arm finally craps out on him. < This is the first time since Roethlisberger was drafted that the expectations are low for Pittsburgh. They no longer have AB but I do still think they have a strong receiving corps and an elite offensive line and their defense should be better but Mike Tomlin will be outcoached by Doug Pederson because he is a clown. This will however ensure that he sticks around for another decade, much to the dismay of @Zack_of_Steel
