Uh what? I'm not a Pelosi fan, but I don't understand why you have an issue with extending COBRA right now. We can't have people uninsured in the middle of a pandemic, they'll spread it even more.

Because it's not medicare for all. It's giving more money to insurance companies who are going to raise their premiums when this is over. It's executives profiteering off of the pandemic by stealing tax money.

If Trump doesnt do debates he is utterly and completely moronic. It won't matter where the debate is, Trump will kill him.

Ultimately Trump's ego would never allow himself to pass on being center stage in that way. He still talks about TV ratings as president lol.

Remember when i was bitching about nobody standing against Pelosi being elected speaker? This is how we got the garbage  4 trillion dollar give away to the 1%. She's more worried about making sure the health care industry can capitalize on this pandemic than she is people's lives. Not just the quality but with peoples lives. Why vote blue when all AOC can do is chastise but vote for anyway? People are so worried about the optics of taking a stand. Optics change. The Iraq War was popular at first. Almost everyone voted for it but years later it gave everyone that opposed it almost instant credibility. Make a stand, fight for the truth.

The time for electoral politics is over. We need action. We need more stuff like in Michigan and Cali where people are using their cars since they can't gather in numbers. We need that  and mass strikes. Our leaders are cowards.

Ya, you aren't wrong that Dems didn't want him. But people didn't really want him either. He lost support in the last 4 years... He got screwed with Hillary for sure... but he's gone against two of the weakest Democrats in my lifetime and couldn't beat them... Biden is probably going to die in office if he is elected (doubt he's elected, but if so). He can't form a coherent thought to save his life, and Bernie couldn't grow his base. That's almost unfathomable to me.

I know I have said this before, but he is a terrible candidate for President. He talks a good talk mostly... He has solid ideas mostly... But he isn't a builder. He isn't someone who I trust to create and push these ideas into reality. I know Tulsi is a small fish relative to the rest of the Dem field, but if he will treat her the way he did.... How will he treat anyone else that doesn't offer to blow him like AOC or Rashida or a few others?

Yes I realize the DNC behind the scenes mobilized the moderates in the party behind Biden, but did Bernie even TRY? Probably not, or not that hard if so. He didn't even make headway with Warren. Like, what was he fucking doing this whole time? lol. When other candidates drop out, you've seen Biden (let's be real, Biden's shadow team... biden himself has no clue where he is or what year it is) push slightly different policies or programs to attract as many of the other candidates voters as possible -- and he did the same thing with Bernie's voters. I am not saying it has worked that well, but that is the game and Biden's team played.

Bernie's strategy was to play the game (running for President is a game) but he refused to make moves once he was in. He couldn't or wouldn't adapt his strategy or shift focus even a fraction to try and attract more and more different people.

TL;DR - The DNC didn't want Bernie as president, correct. But Bernie's campaign is a failure that he himself has to own. This falls on him almost entirely.

I mean, it's hard to argue with most of what you're saying. Bernie showed no strength. He bent the knee to Hillary. He never defended himself against smears. He refused to go all the way and tell the truth and run an aggressive campaign. Whether you like him or not, Trump laid out the blue print for running as an outsider. Instead, Bernie decided to bring a spork to a gun fight, thinking for some reason that he could play nice with the sociopath's who run the party.

  4. The DNC's main objective was to defeat Sanders, not Trump. Both parties want to enrich their donors and themselves and that's it. The DNC isn't incompetent at all. They're doing exactly what they're supposed to do. Their function in this country is to beat down the left and when they win they do the same shit as the Republicans. Both parties steal as much wealth as possible from everyone at the bottom and the middle and transfer it to the top. We're just supposed to pat ourselves on the back because one rapacious party doesn't care who you marry or where you go to the bathroom. Continuing to support the Dems only perpetuates a continuing downward spiral. Declaring you'll vote Democrat no matter what is so dumb because you immediately give up all of your leverage and ensure that you will never have a voice.

I'm not sure what concessions Sanders thinks he'll get out of these monsters. I'm not sure what on earth makes him think that anything they promise can be trusted. To me it's just more political grandstanding. I'm sick of it tbh. Sanders should be leading, callimg for walk outs and rent/mortgage/credit strikes. He gave the nomination away already. Time to start looking in another direction if he truly intends on being a leader of a political revolution but he just refuses to use any of his power.

  5. I will never vote for Joe Biden and i'm going to make that as clear as possible online and in real life. I hope it's possible to go to the convention but i really want to try and make it out there. I wanna focus on trying to organize but i have no idea where to start. Trying to get people to help my organize a rent/mortgage/credit strike. It's a college town with tons of young people. It's a pretty small town too. The real estate is mostly owned by this company called Zukin too. Fuck this. Time to make a stand. This election is a farce.

  6. 83 Skins- One of probably the top 5 HC's of all time. The Skins just would kind of beat the fuck out of the opposition with their offensive line. That's a formula that has proven effective in every era.

04 Pats- The last of the early defensively dominant era of the Patriots dynasty. They always executed on offense too, with not a lot of if any elite talent. They just executed their offense and didn't make mistakes. Tough to beat teams like that.

01 Pats- This might be the best defense of the Belichick era.  Offensively, like in 04 they just played defense, played field position, and didn't make a lot of mistakes. They weren't the juggernauts that some of the other Pats teams were because Brady was just getting started but they were still damn good imo. I guess you could argue that the same team beat the Patriots that year but they didn't do it with Bill Callahan as HC ha

15 Hawks- The Legion of Boom was at it's most dominant. Lynch was in his prime and eventhough Wilson was so young he always seemed to make plays when they needed them.

I mean, except the people didnt get nothing. They get $1200 for each person. That's not nothing.

Lol you right but if there isn't another stimulus bill, i hope you're ready for some Mad Max shit. Question is, how much will "the resistance" help Trump and the banks steal from us with the next one? What's the point of building a movement and gaining political capital if you lack the conviction or the balls to actually leverage it? Sanders still holds the election in his hands. Biden can't win without him. What about Pelosi? Bernie DOMINATED California in the primary with voter fraud and voter suppression working against him. Why doesn't he say to her, "i'll make sure you lose your seat to your primary challenger if you don't push for Medicare for all." He could probably do the same to Schumer in NY where Bernie is from. You're not going yo get anything by just asking nicely and that seems to be Bernie and the Squad's strategy and it's absolutely pathetic and completely ineffective. We need leaders who are willing to declare war. We don't have that. We have cowards who are comfortable with their positions and who like to give meaningless speaches for the cameras after they've already bent the knee. As i said, fucking pathetic.

I went chalk without much thought except for the 49ers/Eagles matchup. That is an absolute coin flip to me, and I found it within myself to counter my own bias and vote for the Niners. *waits for Sean to roast me*

And you voted for Baltimore? You're a disgrace, bro.

Right and then the GOP says "The Dems are preventing us from giving money to the people." You have way too high a view of the average person's intelligence. I think basically all of your conspiracy theories are defeated by someone pointing out that the average American voter is pretty ignorant to the goings on of politics.

Realistically you would lose, it would pass and when people realized they got nothing and it was a gigantic corporate giveaway. It could form a coalition in a lot of areas with true fiscal conservatives and energize people. Instead we're lulled back to sleep, until the next imminent crisis. I mean at least if you stand for something people might be more willing to believe in you and actually come out and vote.

  10. Voted for the '80 Eagles. Jaworski is a legend despite what Razor's "qb rankings" might suggest. I say it's all just Russian propaganda.

Of course i voted for the '17 Eagles. They beat the Pats with half their team, includong their QB on IR. The Falcons played the Pats too but blew the biggest lead in super bowl history. Lol

As much as I hate Dallas, Staubach, Landry and Dallas' defense is just too much. If you have an all-time great QB, defense and HC, you're going to win a lot of football games.

I think everyone who was here in 2012 knows how i feel about the Ravens that year. Worst super bowl winning team of my lifetime. The 2004 Steelers on the other hand had a bunch of hall of famers in their prime while the Ravens had hall of famers who were just past their primes (except Yanda).
